긍정심리학을 적용한 집단미술치료가 유방절제 암환자의 우울 및 삶의 질에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 긍정심리학을 적용한 집단미술치료가 유방절제 암환자의 우울 및 삶의 질에 어떠한 효과가 있는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구를 위하여 S시 소재의 K병원에서 2012년에서 2014년 사이에 유방암 판정 을 받고 절제한 환자들 가운데 BDI를 실시하여 총점이 10점에서 23점 사이에 해당되는 경중 우울 상태의 환자 를 대상으로 실험집단 10명, 통제집단 10명으로 무선으로 할당을 하였다. 연구기간은 2014년 6월에서 2014년 9 월까지 매주 1회 100분씩 12회기가 진행되었다. 연구도구는 Beck의 우울증 척도(BDI)와 삶의 질 척도(QOL)를 사용하였다. 통계 분석은 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 긍정심리학을 적용한 집단미술치료 프로그램이 실험집단과 통제집단 간의 BDI와 QOL의 사전검사와 사후검사에 어떠한 효과를 나타내는지 알아보기 위해 공 변량 분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 또한 매 회기 음성녹음과 관찰을 통해 회기별 내용 분석을 하였다. 본 연 구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이 집단미술치료가 유방절제 암환자의 우울을 감소하는데 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 이 집단미술치료가 유방절제 암환자의 삶의 질을 향상하는데 효과가 있었다. 셋째, 유방절제 암환자들은 회기 가 진행될수록 긍정심리학을 적용한 이번 집단미술치료를 통해 자신들의 우울에 대해 통찰하고 삶의 질을 점 점 개선해 나갔다.

영문 초록

This study was aimed at investigating the effects of group art therapy using positive psychology on depression and life quality in the mastectomy patients. To do this study, all 20 subjects of mildly depressed patients, scoring a total of 10 to 23 at the BDI test for mastectomy patients diagnosed as breast cancer from 2012 to 2014 at the K Hospital in the S city, were randomly assigned to each one of control group and test group in the same number. A total of 12 sessions was performed for 100 minutes per each session, once a week from June to September 2014, except the pre- and post-test. Research tools such as the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and the Questionnaire of Life Quality (QOL) were applied, and the SPSS 18.0 program was used for statistical analysis. And ANCOVA was also used to see how this program affects both the pre-test and post-test of the BDI and QOL between the control and experimental group. The contents of each session were analyzed through voice recording and observations. The results from this study are as follows: firstly, this group art therapy showed a significant effect on reducing depression in mastectomy patients. Secondly, this group art therapy played a positive role in enhancing quality of life in all mastectomy patients joined. Finally, with the progress in the sessions, all of mastectomy patients joined have directly seen their own depression through this art therapy using positive psychology and have gradually improved quality of life for themselves.
