모성회귀 체험에 관한 존재론적 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 우리가 모성회귀의 심리적 과정에서 현실적인 삶으로부터 퇴행하여 자기치유의 시간에 존재하는 그 체험의 본질은 무엇이며, 모성회귀 체험이 우리 삶에서 어떤 의미로 드러나는지를 해명하는데 목적을 둔다. 이에 연구자는 대도시에 거주하면서 자녀를 둔 중년 직장인 8명을 대상으로 8개월 동안 그들의 모성회귀 활동 을 존재론적인 탐구로 진행하였다. 그 결과 참여자들의 모성회귀는 그들의 삶과 관련하여 전체 40개의 스토리 가 생성되었다. 이러한 과정에서 발굴한 모성회귀 체험의 의미는 첫째, ‘마음의 그림자를 삶의 형식으로 채색하 는 일’ 둘째, ‘삶이 초월되는 치유 과정’으로 요약된다. 첫 번째 의미는 ‘현실로부터 억압되었던 것을 되찾는 일’, ‘어려운 현실로부터 벗어나 자신의 신체성에 머무는 일’, ‘실존에 바탕을 둔 미적체험’이 포함된다. 두 번째 의미는 ‘내 존재로 살아내기 위한 다리를 놓음’, ‘데자뷰의 공간에 머무름’, ‘내 안의 어머니, 그 품에 안김’, ‘순 환의 고리로 들어감’, ‘삶의 생기에 붙들림’이 포함된다. 이로써 모성회귀는 전 생애를 다루는 실존적인 의미로 탐색되며, 개인의 신체성에 기반이 된 능동적인 활동으로써 삶의 역설적인 내용뿐 아니라 인간보편성과 독특성 의 통합을 이룰 수 있는 미술치료로서 응용 가능성을 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study inquired into the nature of the experience during in the self-healing period in regression from our realistic life during the psychological process of maternal regression and the effect of maternal regression on life. The researcher carried out the research ontologically on the maternal regression activities, targeting 8 middle-aged office workers residing in a big city and having their children. As a result, total 40 stories were found in total on the maternal regression of the participants. The meaning of the maternal regression experience is summarized as follows: First, 'coloring the shadows in the mind with the form of one's life', Second, 'healing process transcending the life'. The former includes 'regaining something suppressed in the realistic life', 'escaping difficult circumstances and staying in one's body' and 'an existence-based aesthetic experience'. The latter includes 'creating a bridge for living as the existence of myself', 'staying in the space of d？j？vu', 'being held in the arms of a mother in me', 'entering a loop of circulation' and 'being held in liveliness of life'. Hereby, it is shown that the maternal regression has existential meaning and that it can be applied to art therapy to achieve an integration of the universality and the uniqueness of a human as well as the paradoxical contents of life as an active activity based on the physicality of an individual.
