사회부적응 청소년의 미술치료 사례연구

국문 초록

한 아동이 자기중심적인 영아기로부터 사회화 과정을 밟아서 마침내 가족의 일원으로, 사회의 구성원으로 성장하기까지는 길고 복잡한 과정을 거치게 된다. 사회성이란 타인에 대한 의식이 “나의 머리속에 존재하여, 나의 행동이 타인에 대한 의식을 전제로 하여 고려되고 통제될 수 있는 경우를 우리는 “사회성이 발달 되어 있다”라고 말한다(한국 청소년 개발원, 1996). 엄밀하게 말해서 신생아(생후 2주 이전 아동)에게는 사회성이 없지만 몇 개월이 지나면서부터는 아주 초보적이기는 하지만 아동들은 남을 의식한 행동을 하기 시작한다. 그가 태어난 문화, 시대, 성에 따라 기대되는 역할이 다르고 연령과 능력에 따라 사회의 기대도 다르기는 하지만 어떤 아동이라도 각 단계에 따라 적응을 잘하고 사회의 도덕률과 여러 규범에 순응하고 창조적으로 사회에 공헌 할 수 있게 되기까지는 수 많은 난관을 극복 해야만 한다. 특히 아동은 가정과 학교에서 수행해야 할 발달과업이 있는데 학업 뿐만아니라 아동 자신의 일을 스스로 자율적으로 참여할 수 있도록 하는 것은 무엇보다 중요하다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This case study attempted to improve the power of self-control, concentration, interpersonal relationship by the art therapy to socially maladjusted adolescent. The subject was socially maladjusted adolescent with social problems. such as indifference and have no reaction. withdrawal and avoidant interpersonal relationship. The adolescent was male, 14years old first grade at junior high school. Then he had parents, one elder brother and grandmother. The adolescent and his mother participated in art activity weekly for 9 months (36 sessions). Each session lasted approximately 50 minutes. The results of this case study were as follows: First, in the expressive activity of art he changed dark color into bright and variable colors. at first he did not draw the figure of person but he draw the figure at last. Second, sience he was improved the autonomy through art therapy，he acquaired self-confidence and positive attitude. Third, sience he was improved the skills of interpersonal relationship by the art therapy, he kept company with friends and family members, especially grandmother Fourth, he was improved the ability of adjustment to the home and school life. Finally, he was able to express evidently emotion and thinking through art therapy, he was able to communicate with others.
