상호문화교육에 근거한 미술 감상교육 방안 모색

국문 초록

우리나라는 해마다 타문화 이주민들이 급속히 증가로 다문화 사회로 빠르게 진입하고 있다. 먼저 다문화 사회를 경험한 나라들 에서 발생되는 사회적 문제점을 미리 대비하기 위해서는 교육을 통해 학생들에게 나와 다른 문화에 대한 편견을 없애고 서로의 문화를 인정하고 존중하는 상대주의적 태도를 갖도록 해야 한다. 다문화주의는 한 사회 안에서 나와 다른 타문화를 인정하고 존중하며 다양한 인종이나 민족들 간에 평화적 공존하는데 중점을 둔다면, 상호문화주의는 나와 다른 타문화권의 사람들과 끊임없는 상호작용을 통한 문화 간의 차이를 극복하고, 문화들 사이에 존재하는 공통된 보편성을 찾고 원활한 소통을 추구한다. 미술은 사회문화적 산물이며 그 시대의 정신과 사회문화, 삶의 모습을 담아 낸 것이기 때문에 미술은 문화를 이해하는 유용하다. 미술 작품 속에 담겨있는 다양한 문화적 양상을 비교 체험을 통해서 자문화와 타문화에 대한 이해의 폭을 넓히고, 자문화와 타문화를 중재할 수 있는 능력을 길러 문화 간의 소통 역량을 기를 수 있다. 미술교육을 통해 상호문화주의 관점에서 타 미술 문화에 대한 깊은 이해를 통해 친숙하지 않은 낯선 타문화를 이해하는 능력을 길러 학생들에게 상호문화 이해능력을 길러 줄 수 있는 교과로서 역할이 요구된다. 상호문화 미술교육은 이민자, 소수자, 다수자를 대상으로 하는 교육으로 자미술 문화와 타미술 문화 이해를 바탕으로 개인과 개인, 자문화와 타문화 간의 소통을 통해 상호문화의 인식의 폭을 넓혀 문화적 이질감을 극복하고 서로 상생을 추구할 수 있는 상호문화 이해 역량을 기르는 교육이다. 본 연구는 상호문화주의 담론에 근거하여 미술 감상교육의 새로운 방안을 모색해 보는데 목적이 있다. 상호문화교육에 기반 한 미술 감상교육 방안을 모색하기 위해서 문헌연구와 더불어 실제 교수학습 과정과 활동 내용, 감상 교수학습 과정별 발문, 구체적인 교수학습 과정안은 전문가1인과 교사2인의 자문을 받아 수정 보완하였다.

영문 초록

Korean has already turned into a multi-cultural society as the number of migrant workers is rapidly increased year by year. We need to prevent the social problems seen in the cases through other countries that have already experienced inter-cultural societies. To do this, we need to get rid of prejudice against different cultures and try to have more relativistic attitude for recognizing and respecting other s cultures.While multi- culturalism recognizes and respects other cultures within a society and focuses on the peaceful coexistence of various races and peoples, inter-culturalism overcomes cultural differences through constant interactions with people of other cultures and seeks not only universality among cultures but also smooth communication. Since art is a visual image of the social culture, mental values and life, students can easily understand various cultures through art works. The comparative experience of art and culture, which contains various cultural aspects, can broaden the identity of self culture, understanding of other cultures, comprehension of others in different cultural backgrounds. Intercultural art education is an education to raise the multi-cultural citizenship for the students, as like immigrants, minorities and many people, to seek coexistence with various cultures in a multi-cultural society. It aims to expand the awareness of mutual culture through communication between individuals and cultures based on understanding of their own culture and other cultures. The purpose of this study is to find new ways of teaching art appreciation based on the discourse of inter-culturalism. In order to develop art appreciation education plans based on intercultural education, it was not only conducted by literature research but also consulted with one expert and two teachers about the process, contents and instructions.
