영문 초록

Existential thought presents the concept o f two dimensions o f hum an being •• the dimension that dose not show itself(ontological) and one that does show itself(ontic). Ontological dim ension is intimately interwoven with the ontic dimension. Schizophrenia encroaches on the all founding characteristics-ontological and ontic dimensions o f hum an being. So we must know the concealed ontological meaning of schizophrenic patient to understand the psychopathology o f schizophrenic patient Existentialists think that phenomenology can reveal the concealed ontological dimension o f hum an being. Similarly existential-phenomenological art therapy can reveal the concealed ontological dimension o f psychiatric patients. To try to reveal the concealed ontological meaning o f schizophrenia, the author applied the existential-phenomenological method in 14 paintings drawed by the 29 year old female schizophrenic patient in art therapy session. Applied existential-phenomenological method is composed o f three phase. The pre-intentional phase is a vague state experienced as some pressure generated from an impression, ever so light, of an unidentified object in the field o f vision. The vagueness becomes intentional in the second phase, where it connects with the identified object It turns meta-intentional in the third phase, when the object is fully perceived and felt as part of the person’s existence. By the method of above mentioned existential-phenomenological art therapy, it is possible to decipher the some of the concealed ontological meanings in the successive 14 patings * — Existencial enlightening of “continuously changing being” in relations with surrounding worlds. —Tradition, mode and principles of life experienced in the house and the tree. — Potentialities of production and creation and essential fullness of existence revealed in the sun, the sea, the clouds. — Self as an authentic existence - the whole - only in realation with the worlds.
