영문 초록

One of screening tests used for identifying the children of alcoholics is the Children of Alcoholics Screening Test (CAST) developed by Jones(l98 l). Authors translated the original version(30 items) into Korean and performed reliability test for the purpose of the application in Korea. Korean Version of Children of Alcoholics Screening Test(CAST-K) was administered in 36 children of alcoholics(COA group) and 262 elementary, middle and high school adolescents (comparison group). The test-retest reliability, item-total correlation and internal consistency were high in their scores. The test-retest reliability was 0.944. The internal consistency reliability was 0.83.
