한국어 문법 학습전략에 대한 기초 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 한국어 문법 학습전략의 유형 체계와 학습자들의 전략 사용 양상을 분석하기 위하여 국내 한국어 기관에서 공부하는 380 명의 한국어 학습자들 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 먼저 전략 범주 와 문항들의 타당성 검증을 위한 요인분석 결과 가장 사용 빈도가 높은 전략은 응용 전략이었고 가장 빈도가 낮은 것은 인지 전략으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 국내 한국어 학습자들이 분석과 추론을 통한 인지적 전략보다 는 타인과의 협동 및 상호작용 등을 통한 지식 강화 전략을 문법학습 시 더 활발히 사용하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 한편 학습자 변인에 따른 문법 학습전략 사용 양상은 외국어 학습 경험 에서는 유경험자들의 전략 사용 이 높게 나타났고 한국어 숙달도 변인에서는 문법 학습전략 사용이 숙달 도가 낮을수록 활발한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 국내 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 한 문법 학습전략 분석의 첫 시도라는 점에서 의미를 가진다. 본 연구의 결과는 날로 증가하고 있는 외국인 유학생들의 효과적인 한국 어 문법교육에 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the overall structure of Korean grammar learning strategies and the usage patterns of learners of Korean language. A total of 380 students, including 266 Chinese students and 114 Vietnamese students studying at university Korean language institutes in Seoul, were participated. First, factor analysis was conducted to verify the validity of the strategy categories and items used in the previous studies. The result showed that the most frequently used strategy was application strategy and the least frequently used strategy was cognitive strategy. This means that Korean learners are more actively using knowledge reinforcement strategies through cooperation and interaction with others than cognitive grammar learning strategies through analysis and reasoning. In analyzing grammar learning strategies according to learner variables, male students strategy use frequency was higher than female students in gender. In terms of education, the average of college graduates was high. In particular, the use of grammar learning strategies according to Korean proficiency was found to be more active as the proficiency was low. Further research is needed to interpret this result.
