유아 음악성에 관한 연구동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 음악성에 관한 학술지 논문의 동향 분석을 통해 유아 음악성 교육 분야의 향후 연구를 위한 기초자료를 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 최근 14년간 발간된 유아 음악성에 관한 논문 총 54편을 선정하고 연도별, 내용별, 연구방법별, 연구도구별, 자료수집방법별로 연구 동향을 분석하고 결과 동향을 제시하였다. 동향 분석 결과 2003년에 불과 1편이던 연구 논문이 2012년에는 10편까지 증가하였고, 다양한 학문영역의 학술지에서 발표되어 음악교육 분야를 넘어 영역 간의 통합적인 학문분야로 연구가 확산되고 있음을 확인하였다. 연구내용별 분석에서는 음악적 능력에 관한 연구가 가장 많이 발표되었으며, 만 5세를 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았다. 연구방법과 연구도구, 자료분석방법별 분석으로는 양적연구방법과, 특히 실험연구가 주를 이루었고, 조사연구에서는 상관/회귀분석이 가장 많이 이루어졌다. 가장 많이 사용된 척도는 PMMA(Gordon, 1986)이며, 자료수집방법은 검사법인 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 연구내용별 분석결과로서는 음악성의 인지적 측면과 정의적 측면이 상호 보완되어 이루어졌지만, 연구도구별 분석 결과는 유아 음악성을 음악적 능력으로 더 많이 측정된 것으로 나타났고, 전체적으로 양적 연구에 크게 편중된 것으로 나타나 주목할 만한 시사점으로 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to present fundamental data for the research henceforth in the field of child musicality education, through the analysis of research trends. For this, 54 articles that were published during the last 14 years were selected and analyzed. The research trends were presented by year, content, research method, measurement scale, and date collecting method. Results on the analysis of research trends showed that the number of researches increased from 1 articles in 2003 to 10 articles in 2012, and the articles on the subject have proliferated into integrated research areas beyond the music education field. The greatest amount of research contents was on musical ability, particularly on 5-year old children. The most used research method was experimental research among the quantitative researches. The most used data analysis methods were by correlation analysis and regression analysis among survey researches. The PMMA(Gordon, 1986) measurement scale had the highest user rate. The most used data collection method was testing. The results showed that the study on the cognitive side and affective side of musicality was balanced in the contents of research. However, musicality has been principally measured as a musical ability. Overall, the research trends leaned more towards quantitative research, causing these significant implications of this research to be discussed.
