영문 초록

The authors experienced a case of chronic psychosis in Turner’s syndrome, who were treated at the Department of Neuropsychiatry, Maryknoll Hospital. Tuner syndrome is associated with sex chromosome abnormality, sexual infantilism and short stature. The patients with this syndrome had been reported generally to have less mental disorder but they had more impairement in social functioning. This case showed psychotic symtoms like persecutory and grandious delusion, insomnia, agitation, and anxiety and various physical problems (short stature, sexual infantilism, and primary amenorrhea) With antipsychotic medication, severe psychotic symtomes improved. A brief review of literature concerning this association is reviewed.
