재불 한-불 다문화 가정의 성장세대한국어 학습 분석에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 프랑스에 거주하는 한-불 다문화 가정과 그 자녀를 대상으로 한민족 성장세대의 다문화 배경과 한국어 학습 간의 상호 연계성, 직면한 도전과 어려움, 그리고 다양한 관점을 탐색하여 다인종·다문화 한민족 세대의 한국어교육 현실을 파악하고자 했다. 연구 결과, 다음의 세 가지 주요 범주가 도출되었다. 첫째, 한국어 학습 동기는 가정 내 심리·정서적 요소와 밀접한 관련이 있었다. 부모는 자녀가 한국적 정체성을 유지하길 바라며 학습을 주도하는데, 시간이 지나면서 자녀들 스스로가 한국어와 한국문화를 자발적으로 수용하려는 경향이 나타났다. 또한, 한-불 문화적 배경이 동기 형성에 영향을 미쳐 자녀들이 한국어 학습을 통해 정체성을 더 깊이 이해하려는 욕구를 발전시켰다. 둘째, 한국어 학습유형의 특이성은 학습 과정에서 한국어 학습이 단순한 언어 습득을 넘어 개인의 정체성과 문화적 뿌리에 대한 탐구와 관련된 심리적·사회적 요인들과도 깊게 연관되어 있었다. 셋째, 한국어 학습의 실제에서는 프랑스의 교육환경과 언어·문화적 맥락이 한국어 학습에 결정적인 요소로 작용할 수 있다는 사실이다. 이는 한국어교육 프로그램이 학습자의 심리적, 문화적, 사회적, 교육적 맥락을 더 잘 반영하도록 개선될 필요가 있음을 시사하며, 맞춤형 교재개발과 교육과정의 유연한 적용이 중요하다는 점을 보여준다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the educational environment of Korean language learning among Korean-French multicultural families and their children residing in France. Through this qualitative research, it aims to explore the previously overlooked interconnections between the multicultural backgrounds of the Korean diaspora growth generation and Korean language learning, the challenges and difficulties they face, and various perspectives. The research yielded three main categories. First, the findings regarding the types of motivations for learning Korean indicate that these motivations are closely related to psychological and emotional factors within the family. Parents lead the learning process, hoping that their children will maintain their Korean identity, but over time, the children tend to adopt Korean language and culture voluntarily. Additionally, the Korean-French cultural background significantly influences motivation formation, fostering the children's desire to deepen their understanding of their identity through Korean language learning. Second, the characteristics of Korean language learning are deeply connected not only to the acquisition of a language but also to psychological and social factors related to the exploration of individual identity and cultural roots. Third, in the practical aspect of Korean language learning indicate that the educational setting and linguistic-cultural context in France can play a decisive role in Korean language learning. This suggests that Korean language education programs need to be improved to better reflect the cultural and educational contexts of the learners, highlighting the importance of developing customized teaching materials and applying flexible curricula.
