Proposal of a Prototype for Methodological Quality Assessment of Research Trend Analysis in the Field of Korean Language Education

국문 초록

연구 동향 분석은 선행 연구에 대한 총정리, 후속 연구를 위한 재출발, 학문 정체성에 대한 재검토 등 역할을 수행함으로써 서지정보학 가치, 연구사적 의의를 지닌다는 것도 물론이고, 후속 연구 전망성 및 지향성을 비롯한 지식 창출 기능도 가진다. 이러한 중요한 가치 및 의의는 모두 연구 동향 분석 방법론의 신뢰도로 보장을 받을 수 있다. 본 연구는 유인박(2022c)의 후속 연구로서 한국어교육 분야 연구 동향 분석의 연구 방법론 질적 평가의 중요성을 제기하여 방법론적 질 평가 도구의 프로토타입을 제안하였다. 평가 도구 프로토타입은 구체적으로 ‘연구 질문’, ‘연구 설계’, ‘분석 대상’, ‘코딩 틀’, ‘코딩 작업’, ‘분석 방법’, ‘연구 결과’와 같은 일곱 가지 준거로 구성되고 관련 판단 참고 기준도 제시되었다. 본 연구는 한국어교육 분야 연구 동향 분석의 방법론적 질 평가의 공론화에 기여한다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 향후 델파이 기법, 전문가 패널 조사 등 연구 방법을 활용하여 이 평가 도구 프로토타입에 대한 한국어교육 전문가 패널의 의견을 수렴하고 보다 더욱 공신력이 있고 정교화된 평가 도구로 구축할 것이다. 더 나아가 평가 도구를 활용해서 실제적으로 연구 동향 논문을 대상으로 평가하는 데 적용할 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Research trend analysis holds both bibliographic value and historical significance by fulfilling roles such as summarizing previous studies and reviewing disciplinary identity. Furthermore, it serves as a tool for knowledge creation. The reliability of the research trend analysis methodology ensures that these values and significance are upheld. Building on Liu Renbo’s (2022c) work, this study is significant in promoting the standardized evaluation of methodological quality in research trends within Korean language education. The evaluation method focuses on seven elements: research question, research design, analysis object, coding framework, coding, research method, and research results. This study contributes by proposing a method to evaluate the quality of research trends in Korean language education. Additionally, the framework developed through this study is expected to serve as an autonomous alternative evaluation tool that can be applied in real-world educational settings. Furthermore, by utilizing research methods such as the ‘Delphi technique’, we aim to develop this evaluation tool into one that earns greater public trust.
