국문 초록

This study aimed to investigate the influence of career values, major satisfaction, and career decision self-efficacy, which are the most important concepts for college students majoring in food service to decide and choose a job that suits their aptitude. For this purpose, a survey was conducted targeting college students majoring in food service at two-year universities in the metropolitan area, and a total of 209 copies were used in the final analysis. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using IBM SPSS 21.0 statistical analysis program. As a result of examining the influence relationship through multiple regression analysis, it was found that both career values and major satisfaction had a significant influence. In the relationship between occupational values and career decision self-efficacy, it was found that both self-evaluation and information collection were significant, but social values were not found to be significant in problem solving. In the relationship between major satisfaction and career decision self-efficacy, the class and relationship satisfaction factors of major satisfaction were found to be insignificant in self-evaluation and information collection. Among career decision self-efficacy, major satisfaction in problem solving was found to be insignificant. Through this study, it will be possible to improve appropriate and strategic career guidance measures for college students majoring in food service.
