국문 초록

한글 문자 디자인의 학문적 연구의 당위성은 문화적 우수성, 글로벌 소프트 파워 강화와 더불어 급변하는 인공지능 생태계 경쟁에서 나타나고 있으며, 한글이 확보해야만 하는 기술 친화적 우위와 미래 인공지능 기반기술의 생태계 경쟁에서 밝은 미래를 보여주고 있다. 고유언어의 인공지능 생태계의 존재 여부가 미래의 세계 인공지능 시장의 우위를 결정한다고 본다면 한글 생태계 기반의 존재는 상당히 고무적이며 한글 디자인에 대한 지속적인 관심과 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 AI 인공지능 시대로 흡입되듯이 발전하고 변모하는 환경 속에서 한글의 확장 가능성과 발전 방향을 예측하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 루돌프 아른하임 Rudolf Arnheim 의 시지각 이론 Art and Visual Perception Rudolf Arnheim (1974)의 이론을 바탕으로 인간의 시지각 과정에서 나타나는 내적인 심리 경향에 대해 살펴보고 한글 문자의 센싱 기술 현황에 대해 분석한다. 연구 분석을 중심으로 한글 문자 디자인의 과정을 새로운 방법론으로 소개하고, 한글 문자의 독특한 균형 구조의 결합과 가독 지향의 균형 보상의 면모 분석을 바탕으로 한글 문자 디자인의 나아갈 방향을 제안한다. AI 인공지능 생태계의 경쟁은 글로벌 빅테크의 영어 언어권에 종속될 것인가 하는 본질적인 문제에서 우리 고유의 언어와 생태계의 존재는 엄청난 경쟁력을 의미하며 한글의 확장성 연구의 당위성과 경쟁우의 확보에 해결책을 제시할 것이다. 또한 태생적으로 과학과 철학을 바탕으로 창재된 한글은 시각적 사고를 기반한 우수한 문자이며, 형태심리 시지각이론으로 투영한 문자 구조와 패턴 연구는 기술 발전의 이정표로서 가능성이 높다. 다양한 연구 분야의 융합을 통한 그 결과를 프로그래밍할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 바탕으로 기계의 판독 효율을 높이는 등 생성형 인공지능에서 각종 웹기반 문서에서 정보를 모아오는 크로올링 Crawling 과정에서 또 다른 기술적 방향을 제시함으로써 미래 인공지능 산업의 패러다임을 바꾸는 출발점에서 한글 문자 디자인의 확장성과 발전 가능성의 방향을 제시해 보았다.

영문 초록

The legitimacy of academic research on Hangul character design is evident in the rapidly changing artificial intelligence ecosystem competition along with cultural excellence and strengthening global soft power, and it shows a bright future in the technologically friendly advantage that Hangul must secure and the ecosystem competition of future AI-based technologies. If the existence of an AI ecosystem of its own language determines the future dominance of the global artificial intelligence market, the existence of a Hangul ecosystem-based foundation is quite encouraging, and continuous interest in and research on Hangul design is necessary. Therefore, this study aims to predict the expansion potential and development direction of Hangul in an environment that is developing and changing into the era of AI. To this end, this study examines the internal psychological tendencies that appear in the process of human visual perception based on Rudolf Arnheim's theory of Art and Visual Perception (1974) and analyzes the current state of sensing technology for Hangul characters. Based on research analysis, the process of Hangul character design is introduced as a new methodology, and the direction of Hangul character design is proposed based on the analysis of the unique balanced structure of Hangul characters and the balance compensation aspect oriented toward readability. The competition in the AI artificial intelligence ecosystem is fundamentally a question of whether it will be subordinated to the English-language sphere of global big tech. The existence of our own language and ecosystem means tremendous competitiveness, and it will present a solution to the legitimacy of Hangul scalability research and securing a competitive edge. In addition, Hangul, which was originally created based on science and philosophy, is an excellent character based on visual thinking, and research on character structure and patterns projected by morphological psychology visual perception theory has a high possibility as a milestone for technological development. By programming these research results to increase the reading efficiency of machines, and by suggesting another technological direction in the crawling process that gathers information from various web-based documents in generative AI, we have presented the scalability and development direction of Hangul character design as a starting point for changing the paradigm of the future AI industry.
