국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 양육자 코칭을 통한 가정 기반 긍정적 행동지원 프로그램이 장애 유아의 문제행동과 사회적 상호작용, 양육자의 양육 효능감과 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법: 본 연구에는 경기도 소재 U장애아통합어린이집에 다니는 장애 자녀 3명과 양육자 3명, 총 6명이 본프로그램에 참여하였고, 대상자간 중다 간헐 기초선 설계(multiple probe baseline across subjects)를 통해그 효과를 살펴보았다. 장애 유아의 문제행동과 사회적 상호작용에 대한 자료는 가정에서 촬영한 영상을 부분간격 기록법(partial interval recording)으로 수집하여 그래프로 시각화하였으며, 양육자의 양육 효능감과 삶의 질 변화를 알아보기 위해 사전·사후 검사를 실시하여 결과를 산출하고, 윌콕슨 부호순위검증(Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test)으로 분석하였다. 연구결과: 자료를 분석한 결과, 장애 유아의 문제행동이 감소되었고 중재 효과가 유지되었으며, 사회적 상호작용의 향상과 중재 효과의 유지를 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 양육자의 양육 효능감과 삶의 질에서는 통계적으로 유의미한 향상이 나타나지 않았으나 전체 영역별 점수의 향상을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 및 논의: 본 연구는 긍정적 행동 지원의 핵심 기능인 주변 환경 개선을 이루고, 장애 유아와 그 가족의 맥락적 적합성을 고려하여 실행한 점에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a home-based Positive Behavior Support program through caregiver coaching on the challenging behaviors and social interactions of children with disabilities, caregivers’ parenting efficacy, and quality of life. Method: A total of six people, including three children with disabilities attending the U Inclusive Daycare Center for the children with disabilities in Gyeonggi Province and their three caregivers, participated in this program and the effects were examined through a multiple probe baseline across subjects design. Data on the children with disabilities’ challenging behaviors and social interactions were collected from the videos taken at home using partial interval recording and visualized in graphs. In order to examine the caregivers’ parenting efficacy and changes in quality of life, pre- and post-tests were conducted, and the results were calculated and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test. Results: As a result of analyzing the data, the challenging behaviors of the children with disabilities were reduced, the intervention effect was maintained, and the improvement of social interaction and the maintenance of the intervention effect were confirmed. There was no statistically significant improvement in the parenting efficacy and quality of life of the caregivers, but an improvement in the scores of each area was confirmed. Conclusion: This study is significant in that it achieved the core function of Positive Behavior Support (PBS) by improving the surrounding environment and was implemented with consideration for the contextual relevance of young children with disabilities and their families.
