미술 수업에서의 학생 작품과 재료의 관리 및 처리에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술 수업에의 학생 작품과 재료의 관리와 처리에 관한 일련의 사태를알아보고 미술교육에서의 시사점을 도출해 관련 사태를 해결하기 위한 방안을 제언하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 연구에서는 초등학교 교사 7명과 중등 미술 교사6명을 대상으로 면담을 실시하였다. 면담에서 얻은 자료의 분석 결과는 1. 버려지는작품들, 2. 산업화된 미술 재료와 쓰레기를 만드는 미술 수업, 3. 모순과 필연의과정, 4. 작품 개념과 재료 계획의 부재, 5. 교사의 노력과 학생의 자각 등 총 5개의주제로 분류되었다. 이 같은 분석 결과를 바탕으로 하는 본 연구에서의 제언은 다음과같다. 첫째, 미술 수업 교수·학습 계획에 재료 계획을 포함하여야 한다. 둘째, 재료의만연한 소비를 최소화할 수 있는 교수·학습 모델을 개발하고, 이를 학교 현장에서실행할 수 있도록 안내해야 한다. 셋째, 미술과 교육과정에 작품의 관리와 재료의처리에 관한 내용 요소를 추가해야 한다. 넷째, 생태전환교육이나 지속가능성교육관련 교사 전문성을 신장하기 위한 미술교육에서의 노력이 필요하다. 본 연구의내용과 결과들은 지금까지 미술교육에서 주요하게 다루어지지 않던 내용들이다. 향후 미술교육에서는 이처럼 지금까지 고려해 본 적이 없으나 미술교육적 재고가필요한 사태를 문제시하거나 제고해 봄으로써 미술교육의 구조를 더욱 견고히 할수 있어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate a series of issues related to the management and handling of student artworks and materials in art classes and to propose measures to address these issues by deriving implications for art education. To this end, the research conducted interviews with 7 elementary school teachers and 6 secondary art teachers. The analysis of the data obtained from the interviews was categorized into five main themes: 1. Discarded artworks, 2. Art classes that generate industrialized art materials and waste, 3. The process of contradictions and inevitabilities, 4. Absence of artwork concepts and material planning, 5. Teachers' efforts and students' awareness. Based on these findings, the study suggests the following recommendations: First, art class teaching and learning plans should include material planning. Second, there is a need to develop teaching and learning models that minimize the widespread consumption of materials and to provide guidance for their implementation in schools. Third, the art education curriculum should incorporate content related to the management of artworks and the handling of materials. Fourth, efforts are needed in art education to enhance teachers' expertise related to ecological transition education or sustainability education. The results of this study address issues that have not been significantly discussed in art education thus far. In the future, art education should consider and reevaluate such previously unconsidered but necessary aspects or issues to further solidify the structure of art education.
