국문 초록

본 연구는 콘텐츠 액티비즘에 대한 이론적 및 실무적 측면을 종합적으로 탐구하였다. 이론적으로는 이전 연구들이 콘텐츠 액티비즘 사례를 단순히 분석하는 데 그쳤던 반면, 본 연구에서는 콘텐츠 액티비즘이 다루는 현안과 과거부터 현재까지 이어져 온 미해결 문제들, 그리고 앞으로의 도전에 초점을 맞추어 이슈의 특성과 공중에게 어떻게 전달되는지를 분석하였다. 실무적으로는 이론적으로 파악한 이슈를 바탕으로 웹콘텐츠인 닷 페이스의 사례를 통해 이슈를 어떻게 구현하였는지를 분석하였다. 문제 또는 이슈의 인식은 공중이 자신에게 문제가 아닌 경우 이해하지 않거나 무시할 수 있으나, 사회적 가치나 해결이 필요한 문제로 인식될 경우 그에 대한 커뮤니케이션과 행동을 촉진한다. 이에 따라 콘텐츠 액티비즘이 중요하게 작용하며, 닷 페이스의 사례를 통해 콘텐츠 액티비즘이 어떻게 실현되는지를 분석하였다. 이러한 분석 결과, 웹과 SNS를 통한 콘텐츠 액티비즘이 이슈를 보다 적극적으로 인식시키고 참여할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였으며, 이는 콘텐츠 액티비즘이 나아갈 방향을 제시하는 데 있어서 의미있는 선행 연구가 될 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study comprehensively explored the theoretical and practical aspects of content activism. While previous studies theoretically stopped at simply analyzing cases of content activism, this study focuses on the current issues addressed by content activism, unresolved problems that have continued from the past to the present, and future challenges to understand the characteristics of the issues and inform the public. We analyzed how it was delivered. In practical terms, based on the theoretically identified issues, we analyzed how the issues were implemented through the example of Dot Face, a web content. Recognition of a problem or issue may not be understood or ignored by the public if it is not a problem for them, but if it is perceived as a problem of social value or in need of a solution, it promotes communication and action regarding it. Accordingly, content activism plays an important role, and we analyzed how content activism is realized through the example of Dot Face. As a result of this analysis, content activism through the web and SNS suggested a way to more actively recognize and participate in issues, which can be a meaningful precedent study in suggesting the direction in which content activism will move forward.
