여성단체활동자의 역할갈등과 심리적 복지감에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 사회단체활동을 하는 여성의 역할갈등과 심리적 복지감의 수준과 그 관련성을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 경상북도에서 각종 단체활동을 하고 있는 여성 302명이며 설문지는 조옥희(2004)의 연구를 토대로 역할갈등 15개 문항과 심리적 복지감 18개 문항으로 구성하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 12.0 program을 이용하여 신뢰도, 타당도, 요인분석, 상관분석을 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 여성단체활동자의 역할갈등은 중간 이하의 수준을 나타냈으며, 심리적 복지감은 중간 이상의 수준을 나타냈다. 학력과 월소득은 역할갈등 뿐만 아니라 심리적 복지감과 유의미한 상관관계를 나타냈으며, 단체활동기간은 심리적 복지감과 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 또 역할갈등이 높을 때 심리적 복지감은 부적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 여성단체활동자의 역할갈등이나 심리적 복지감 연구의 기초적 자료로 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the psychological well-being of females involved in women's organizations. This study specifically examines the relationship between the level of role conflicts and psychological well-being. The subjects of the study were 302 women participating in women's organizations in Gyeoungbuk Province. They were asked to answer survey questions, including 15 items about role conflicts and 18 items about psychological well-being. This instrument was modified from the questionnaire developed by Jo, Ok-Hee (2004). The participants' answers were analyzed through factor analysis, correlation and path analysis. The results of this research were as follows. ; The study revealed that more than half of the subjects were satisfied with their level of well-being. However, less than half of the participants had role conflicts during the activities. Women who had higher education and family income felt not only high psychological well-being but also low role conflict. In addition, positive psychological well-being corresponded with the duration of their membership in the organizations. Subjects who had high role-conflict had a negative correlation with psychological well-being. The results of this study provided some implications for further studies on the role conflicts and psychological well-being of females belonging to women's organizations.
