청소년의 부모요인, 친구애착 및 자아존중감과 진로성숙도와의 관계

국문 초록

남녀를 중고등학생을 대상으로 부모와 친구애착요인에 따른 자아존중감과 진로성숙도와의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 총 266명(남 116, 여 150)에게 부모 및 애착척도와 진로성숙도. 자아존중감 검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 청소년들은 부모와의 애착수준이 높을수록 자아존중감이 높고, 자기비하가능성이 낮으며 가족과의 유대관계가 좋은 것으로 나타났으며, 또한 자아존중감이 높은 청소년은 진로성숙도가 높아서, 직업 결정능력이 높고 직업에 대한 목적의식이 뚜렷하며, 진로에 대한 확신이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 친구 애착 수준이 높은 청소년은 자아 존중감이 높으며 가족과의 유대관계도 좋은 것으로 나타났으며 자기주장을 잘하고 불안감을 덜 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 친구와 안정된 애착을 보일수록 진로에 대한 정보수집 및 의사소통 등에 관한 준비도와 진로결정을 위한 주체성, 독립성 그리고 진로에 대한 확신이 높게 나타났으며 진로에 대한 목적이 뚜렷한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 친구애착수준과 자아존중감 이 높을수록 청소년의 진로성숙도는 높아지는 경향을 나타냈다. 성별에 따른 부모요인과 친구애착과 자아존중감과의 관계에서는 친구애착이 가장 큰 영향을 미친것으로 나타났다. 특히 여자청소년은 자아존중감과 친구애착이 진로 성숙도에 가장 큰 영향을 미쳤다.

영문 초록

This research aims to analyze how mature career choices in adolescents are made in relation to the degree of their affinity with the others, such as their relationship with their parents and peers, and their self-esteem. A total of 266 middle and High school students (116 male and 150 female) participated. The results indicate that higher degree of closeness has a negative correlation with self-esteem and good relationship with their family, considers oneself to be more attractive and populate compared to others. Higher degree of closeness to the parents indicated positive correlation with mature career choices. Moreover, higher level of self-esteem indicated positive correlation with career choices which resulted in strong understanding of occupational objectives and strong confidence in their selection. High degree of peer attachment level indicated positive correlation to self-esteem. Also, stronger relationship to the family showed positive ability to support one’s arguments and suffering less from insecurity. Individuals with high degree of attachment level also demonstrated greater abilities in researching career information and in communication, independence in undertaking the above activities. Overall, a high levels of self-esteem and peer attachment resulted in positive correlation with making mature career choices. The most differentiating factor between the genders were shown in the relationship with the parents, peer attachment and self-esteem where female students displayed greater discrepancy in self-esteem and peer attachment as compared to the male students.
