결혼이주여성의 사회적 지원이 결혼생활안정에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 결혼이주여성에 대한 사회적 지원이 결혼생활안정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 확인하고 동시에 결혼이주여성의 문화적응태도의 매개효과를 분석함으로써 사회적 지원이 결혼이주여성의 결혼생활안정에 유용한 예측인자이고, 문화적응태도가 이들의 관계에 간접적으로 매개적인 역할을 한다는 것을 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 사회적 지원을 예언변인으로, 문화적응태도를 매개변인으로, 결혼생활안정을 결과변인으로 설정하고, 결혼이주여성 443명을 대상으로 구조방정식모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 결혼이주여성의 사회적 지원과 결혼생활안정의 관계에서 문화적응태도를 매개변인으로 설정한 부분매개모형이 적절한 모형으로 밝혀졌다. 변수 간 경로과정을 살펴본 결과 사회적 지원이 높을수록 문화적응태도 수준이 높고, 문화적응태도가 높을수록 결혼생활안정 수준이 높으며, 사회적 지원이 높을수록 결혼생활안정이 높다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 직접효과와 간접효과, 총 효과를 살펴본 결과 사회적 지원이 결혼생활안정에 직접효과를 가지기도 하지만 문화적응태도의 매개변수를 통한 간접효과로 인해 총 효과가 커진 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 결혼이주여성의 결혼생활안정을 위해서 다양한 사회적 지원이 필요하고, 사회적 지원 서비스를 제공할 때 문화적응 요소를 접목시켜 진행하면 효과를 높일 수 있음을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study is intended to reveal that social support is a useful predictive factor in married immigration women and a cultural adaptation attitude indirectly acts as a mediating role in their stable marriage life by examining the effects of social support on stable marriage life and analyzing the mediating effect of a cultural adaptation attitude in married immigrant women. To achieve this purpose, social support was established as a predictive variable; a cultural adaptation attitude, as mediating variable; and stable marriage life, as an outcome variable. And then structural equation model analysis was conducted with 443 married immigrant women. The result suggests that a partial mediation model which established a cultural adaptation attitude as a mediating variable in relationship between social support and stable marriage life in married immigrant women is appropriate. As a result of investigating path process between variables, it was found that high social support was related with a high cultural adaptation attitude; a high cultural adaptation attitude was related with high stable marriage life; and high social support was related with high stable marriage life. As a result of examining direct, indirect, and total effects, although social support had a direct effect on stable marriage life, a total effect became high due to an indirect effect via the mediating variable of cultural adaptation attitude. Accordingly, it is suggested that a variety of social support should be provided for stable marriage life in married immigrant women and it will be more effective to graft cultural adaptation elements when social support service is provided.
