국문 초록

본 연구는 SNS 과의존이 새로운 사회문제로 제기되고 있는 현시점에서 대학생의 자기통제감이 SNS 과의존에 미치는 영향을 확인하여 대학생의 SNS 과의존 위험을 감소시키기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 일개 지역의 대학생을 대상으로 Google Forms를 이용하여 온라인으로 설문지를 배포하였으며 회수된 247부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, 상관분석 및 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 SNS 과의존 정도는 2.12점(4점 만점)이었으며 여학생과 SNS 사용시간이 길수록 SNS 과의존이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 자기통제감은 3.39점(5점 만점)이었으며 남학생의 자기통제감이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기통제감은 SNS 과의존에 음(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학생들의 자기통제감을 높이고 SNS 과의존 위험을 낮출 수 있는 성별과 SNS 이용시간 등을 고려한 맞춤형 프로그램 개발이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to provide basic data to reduce the risk of college students' SNS overdependence by confirming the impact of university students' self-control on SNS overdependence at a time when SNS overdependence is being raised as a new social problem. Questionnaires were distributed online to university students in one area, and 247 copies were collected and used in the final analysis. The collected data were subjected to descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS 25.0 program. The research results are summarized as follows. First, the degree of SNS overdependence of university students was 2.12 points (out of 4), and the female and the longer the time spent using SNS, the higher the SNS overdependence. The self-control was 3.39 points (out of 5), and male appeared to have a higher self-control. Second, self-control was found to have a negative effect on SNS overdependence. Based on the results of this study, it is believed that it is necessary to develop a customized program that takes into account gender and SNS usage time to increase university students' self-control and reduce the risk of SNS overdependence.
