국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 일상문제해결 과정을 분석하여 대학생들이 일상문제를 해결하는 과정에서 경험하는 변화와 그것의 의미를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 국내 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 2학년 이상의 대학생 14명을 대상으로 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였고. 수집된 자료는 구성주의적 근거이론의 접근방법으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 대학생의 일상문제해결 과정은 ‘일상문제 마주하기: 대학생이 인식하는 일상문제의 의미’, ‘문제해결과정 수행하기: 문제해결자로서의 변화 주도’, ‘문제 상황 종료하기: 변화 체감 및 성장 확인’ 의 총 3개 범주와 10개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 대학생의 일상 경험을 그들의 목소리로 담아내어 대학생의 일상문제해결 과정을 심층적으로 이해하는 데 기여하였으며, 대학생의 인식 및 태도 변화에 따른 일상문제해결 과정의 다양한 종결 형태를 제시하였다. 이는 대학생이 일상문제해결 과정을 통해 문제 상황을 해결할 뿐만 아니라, 문제해결자로서 긍정적 변화를 통해 성장한다는 것을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 대학생의 일상문제해결력 증진을 위한 교육 프로그램 개발에 유용한 정보를 제공하고, 관련 정책 개발을 통한 교육적 개입의 근거를 마련할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore university students’ everyday problem solving process, their changes and meaning. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 14 students in second grade or higher who attending universities in Korea. The collected data were analyzed using the constructive grounded theory approach. The study results were as follows. The university students’ everyday problem solving process was derived a total of 3 categories and 10 subcategories: 'perception of everyday problem', 'performing of problem-solving process', and 'termination of a problem situation'. The results of this study helped to in-depth understanding of university students’ everyday problem solving because the study included their voices from the real experiences of everyday. Also, It suggested that various forms of termination of the everyday problem solving process according to changes in university students' perceptions and attitudes. This is significant in that it suggests that university students not only eliminate problem situations through the everyday problem solving process, but also experience growth through positive changes as problem solvers. Through this, this study is expected to provide useful information on the development of educational programs to improve university students' everyday problem solving skills and lay the groundwork for educational intervention through related policy development.
