국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 발달장애학생의 어머니가 인식하는 삶의 질, 가족지지 및 사회적지지를 학생의 변인에 따라 분석하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 연구대상은 자폐성장애 학생의 어머니 304명과 지적장애 학생의 어머니 174명 총 478명이었으며, 전국 장애인 부모단체 SNS를 통해 지원자 표집을 하였다. 연구 참여자는 자신이 인식하고 있는 삶의 질과 가족지지와 사회적지지에 대해 전자 설문지를 통해 응답하였으며, 두 독립표본 t 검증, 분산분석, 상관계수, 단계선택법 중다회귀분석을 적용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 발달장애 학생의 장애유형과 교육배치에 따라 어머니가 인식하는 삶의 질, 가족지지 및 사회적지지의 차이가 있었으나, 발달장애학생의 성별과 학교급에 따라 어머니가 인식하는 삶의 질, 가족지지 및 사회적지지의 차이는 없었다. 가족지지의 하위영역인 도구적지지와 정서적지지 및 사회적지지의 하위영역인 정서적지지와 물질적지지가 발달장애 학생 어머니가 인식하는 삶의 질에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 결론: 발달장애 학생 어머니의 삶의 질, 가족지지 및 사회적 지지를 향상시키기 위한 프로그램과 지원 정책을 개발 시 장애유형과 교육배치의 특성을 고려해야 하고, 발달장애학생 어머니의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 필수요인으로서 가족지지와 사회적 지지를 향상시킬 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the perception of mothers of students with developmental disabilities on quality of life, family support, and social support. Method: The participants of the study were 304 mothers of students with autism spectrum disorder and 174 mothers of students with intellectual disabilities. The data on quality of life, family support, and social support of 478 mothers of students with developmental disabilities were collected through an electronic questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and two independent samples t test, F test, and stepwise multiple regression analysis were implemented for analyzing the data. Results: First, there were differences of quality of life, family support, and social support perceived by the mothers of students with developmental disabilities according to the type of disability and the educational placement of their child. Second, there was no difference of quality of life, family support, and social support perceived by the mothers of students with developmental disabilities according to the gender and the grade of their child. Lastly, instrumental support and emotional support of family support, and material support and emotional support of social support had an impact on the quality of life of mothers of students with developmental disabilities. Conclusions: The type of developmental disability, educational placement, family support, and social support should be considered in developing programs and policies for improving the quality of life of the mothers of students with developmental disabilities.
