민세 안재홍의 충무공 이순신 선양 활동

국문 초록

이 글은 민족운동가 민세 안재홍의 충무공 이순신 선양 활동을 규명하기 위한 것이다. 어려서부터 안재홍은 고향 평택 앞산에 올라가 남쪽 아산 이순신 장군 묘를 자주 바라봤다. 이때부터 평생 이순신을 존경했고 충무공 정신을 실천했다. 안재홍은 1926년 4월 남해 통영 충무공 유적지를 답사했다. 그리고 조선일보에 관련 기행문을 썼다. 1931년 5월 충무공유적 보전 운동에 참여했다. 1934년 8월에는 여수에서 목포까지 이충무공 유적을 답사했다. 돌아와서 조선학운동을 실천했다. 1935년 1월에는 조선어학회 회원으로 아산 현충사를 답사했다. 이곳에서 한글 수호의 의지를 다졌다. 해방 후에도 안재홍은 충무공 기념사업회 이사 등으로 활동하며 정신 선양에 힘썼다. 또한 언론을 통한 충무공 정신 선양과 한산도 제승당 추모비 제막에도 참여했다. 안재홍은 일제 강점기 9번 감옥에 갔으며 끝까지 투쟁했다. 안재홍은 충무공을 조선심(朝鮮心)의 구현자로 높게 평가했다. 그리고 충무공 정신으로 한평생 독립과 통일에 헌신했다. 이런 안재홍의 충무공 이순신 정신 선양 실천은 널리 알려져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This article is to investigate the activities of national activist Minse AhnJae-hong to promote Admiral Yi Sun-shin. From a young age, Ahn Jae-hong climbed the mountain in front of his hometown of Pyeongtaek and frequently looked at the tomb of Admiral Yi Sun-shin in Asan in the south. Since then, he has respected Yi Sun-shin all his life and practiced the spirit of Chungmugong. Ahn Jae-hong visited the site of Chungmugong in Tongyeong of the southern sea in April 1926. And He wrote a related travel essay for the Chosun Ilbo. In May 1931, he participated in the Chungmugong Historic Site Conservation Movement. In August 1934, He visited the remains of Lee Chungmugong from Yeosu to Mokpo. After returning, He practiced the Chosun Studies movement. In January 1935, he visited Asan Memorial Temple as a member of the Korean Language Association. Here, He strengthened his will to defend Hangeul. Even after liberation, Ahn Jae-hong worked as a director of the Chungmugong Memorial Project and tried to enhance his spirit. He also participated in the promotion of the spirit of Chungmugong through the media and the unveiling of the memorial stone for Hansando Jeseungdang. Ahn Jae-hong went to prison nine times during the Japanese occupation and fought until the end. Ahn Jae-hong highly regarded Chungmugong as the embodiment of the Chosun Sprits. And in the spirit of Chungmugong, he devoted his whole life to independence and unification. Ahn Jae-hong's practice of cultivating the spirit of Admiral Yi Sun-shin should be widely known.
