영문 초록

This study is to inquire into the parts of speech development against infant aged from 12 months to 23 months. Their parts of speech system can be classified three steps such as ‘The noun oriented step, The expanding step and The establishing step'. The first step is the period that single words are started. In this period, they generally use the noun for communication and, the frequency of using the noun is 80%. The second step is the period that they use two words. In this period, number of the parts of speech is increased and the system is expanded through organizing two words. In the final step, their vocabulary and function is developed rapidly and the nine parts of speech system is established.
