장애인 당사자 및 관계자 FGI를 통한 장애유형별 평생교육 프로그램 요구 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 시각장애, 청각장애, 지체ㆍ뇌병변장애 그리고 중도ㆍ중복장애를 가진 성인 및 관계자를 대상으로 하여 평생교육 프로그램에 대한 요구 사항을 알아보고자 실시되었다. 급변하는 사회에서 평생교육은 우리 모두에게 필수적으로 요구되지만, 감각장애를 포함한 지체장애인 대상의 평생교육에 대한 논의는 활발히 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구를 위하여 시각장애, 청각장애, 지체ㆍ뇌병변장애 그리고 중도ㆍ중복장애를 가진 성인 및 관계자를 대상으로 각각 FGI가 실시되었고, 구체적인 요구는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시각장애인의 경우에는 평생교육을 통한 실질적 자립생활에 필요한 기술이나 정보에 대한 요구가 높았다. 둘째, 청각장애인들은 그림 및 동영상, 자막이 들어있는 자료 및 수어 통역사의 원활한 배치요구가 높았다. 셋째, 지체ㆍ뇌병변장애인의 경우에는 장애 정도나 유형의 다양성으로 인하여 직업교육, 보조공학, 스마트러닝 관련 콘텐츠, 사회적 관계 형성, 자세유지 등 다양한 요구가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 중도ㆍ중복장애인의 경우 장애 정도가 심하여 성인기 평생교육 프로그램일지라도 일상생활 기능 중심의 내용이 시급하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 결과에 따른 논의와 연구의 제한점을 토대로 후속연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the requirements for lifelong education programs for adults with visual impairments, hearing impairments, physical impairments, and severe/multiple disabilities, and to address suggestions for development plans based on the results. In a rapidly changing society, lifelong education is essential for all of us, but there has been no active discussion about lifelong education for people with physical disabilities, including sensory impairments. For this study, FGI was implemented with 4 different groups of disabilities. The results of the current study are as follows. First, people with visual impairments were interested in improving the function to the level of independent living, and in this sense, there were many demands for skills and information necessary for practical independence through future programs. Second, people with hearing impairments required a lot of materials containing video and subtitles, the smoothness of the arrangement of the interpreter. In the case of people with physical disabilities, various programs and program-related materials were emphasized due to the degree of disability and the variety of types of disabilities. Furthermore, it was found that there is an urgent need for programs of daily living functions that are necessary for people with severe/multiple disabilities. Finally, suggestions regarding developmental plans were addressed made based on conclusions.
