개별화교육계획 운영 실제와 지원요구에 대한 개별화교육지원팀 구성원의 경험과 인식

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 개별화교육계획의 운영 주체인 학부모, 유아특수교사, 관련서비스 종사자에 초점을 두고 그들이 경험하고 있는 개별화교육계획에 대한 인식을 살펴봄으로써, 유아중심의 실제적인 개별화교육계획의 방향성에 대한 시사점을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 학부모, 유아특수교사, 관련서비스 종사자 12명과 포커스 그룹 면담을 실시하였고, 면담자료는 연속적 비교분석법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 1) 개별화교육계획 실행 경험, 2) 개별화교육계획 실행 시 협력의 어려움, 3) 개별화교육계획에 대한 개선방안이라는 3개의 주제와 17개의 하위주제, 57개의 주요내용을 도출하였다. 학부모들은 팀 협력을 위한 학교와 병원, 치료기관 간의 효율적인 지원을 요구하였고, 유아특수교사들은 교육현장에서 개별화교육계획의 당위성 확보를 위한 위상 재정립과 협력을 위한 관련전문가들의 유연한 태도 및 실제적이고 지속적인 정보체계를 희망하였다. 관련서비스 종사자 역시 특수교육대상영유아 지원방법을 특수교육 관련서비스에 접목할 수 있는 전문가의 다양한 지원이 구축되어야 함을 강조하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the perceptions of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) they are experiencing, focusing on the parents, early childhood special education teacher, and related service personnel who operate the IEP. This study suggests implications for the direction of the practical IEP. For this purpose, 12 focus group interviews were conducted with parents, early childhood special education teacher, and related service personnel. The collected data were analyzed using the constant comparative method. The study found that there were three main themes, with 17 sub-themes and 57 contents: 1) Experience in implementing IEP, 2) Difficulty of collaboration in implementing IEP, and 3) Improvement of IEP. Parents demanded the improvement of the perception of the administrators and the general education teacher. The early childhood special education teacher wanted a flexible attitude and practical and continuous information system from the relevant experts for the reorganization and collaboration for securing the justification of the IEP in the education field. The related service personnel also emphasized the need for a wide range of support from specialists who can apply special education related services to special education services.
