국문 초록

본 연구는 생태학적 변인에 따른 특수교육대상영유아의 가족지원교육활동 경험에 관한 연구로, 가족을 중심으로 이루어지고 있는 가족지원교육활동 실태에 대해 조사하였으며, 과정에서 나타난 요구와 문제들을 토대로 효과적인 가족지원교육활동을 위한 방향성을 모색하였다. 이를 위해서 ‘A’ 지역에 거주하는 특수교육대상영유아 자녀를 둔 93가구 부모가 본 연구에 참여하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 부모 연령, 가정에서의 양육 및 교육환경, 부모의 양육태도, 부모-전문가 관계, 주거환경, 전이 지원 등에 따라 가정마다 이루어지고 있는 가족 중심의 가족지원교육활동이 이질적이면서 다양하게 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 직업에 따른 양육 참여 태도와 관련해 직업에 대한 만족도가 높은 아버지일수록 가정에서의 양육 및 교육활동 참여가 적극적인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 최근 특수교육대상아동이 지속적으로 증가하면서 가족지원교육활동에 대한 질적인 내실화와 사회적 환경의 중요성이 강조되는 시기에 가정과 지역사회 안에서 부모를 중심으로 가족지원교육활동 경험에 대한 연구를 시도하였다는데 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study is an exploratory study on the ecological variables about the family support education activities for young children with special needs. This study investigated the environment around family support education activities, and sought a change in direction for effective family support based on needs and concerns in the process. For this purpose, 93 parents of young special education children living in area “A” participated in this study. The results are as follows. First, it proves that the educational activities of a family vary depending on the parents’ age, their educational background, nurturing and education environment at home, the family members’ attitudes towards nurturing and participation in education, parent-professional relationship, residential environment, and economic levels. Second, when it comes to the attitudes towards participation in nurturing depending on the parents’ occupation, fathers who are highly satisfied with their job tend to participate in nurturing and educational activities more actively. This study is significant in that it has researched the family support education activities aimed at parents and professionals at home and in the community in the era of emphasizing the quality substantiality and social environment as the children with special educational needs increase continually.
