발화와 문장 분석 기준을 적용한 노년층의 구문산출능력

국문 초록

구문 산출의 수행력을 분석할 때 우선적으로 고려할 점은 분석의 기초 기준을 정하는 것이다. 일반적으로 절의 구조가 완벽하지않은 ‘발화’와 절의 구조가 필수적으로 포함된 ‘문장’은 구문 분석의 기초 기준이 될 수 있다. 발화와 문장은 그 구성 요건이 다르므로분석의 기초 기준에 따라 결과가 달라질 가능성이 있다. 본 연구는 발화와 문장 분석 기준에 따른 다양한 분석지표의 차이를 확인하는것을 목적으로 한다. 연령에 따른 구문적 특성을 확인하기 위해 청년층(27.31 ± 4.72) 54명, 중년층(49.93 ± 5.80) 48명, 노년층(69.02 ± 5.44) 40명이 참여하였다. 발화 분석 기준에서는, 노년층은 청년층에 비해 음절, 조사, 어미, 문법형태소 수가 적었으며, 청년층 및 중장년층에 비해 평균어절길이와 목적격조사수를 적게 산출하였다. 문장 분석 기준에서는, 노년층과 청년층 및 중장년층 간에 음절, 조사, 어미, 문법형태소 수에서 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 구문 분석 시 문법적 지식 확인을 위한 문장 분석 기준의 적용가능성과그 근거를 제시한다.

영문 초록

The important thing to consider when analyzing the performance of syntactic production is to set the basic criteria for analysis. Generally, ‘utterance’ that include incomplete clauses and ‘sentence’ that necessarily include complete clauses can be used as a basic criterion for analysis. Since utterances and sentences have different structural requirements, the results may differ depending on the basic criteria of analysis. The aim of the study is to confirm the differences in various analysis indicators according to the uttrance and sentence analysis criteria. To investigate syntactic characteristics according to age, 54 young people (27.31 ± 4.72), 48 middle-aged people (49.93 ± 5.80), and 40 old people (69.02 ± 5.44) participated. In the utterance analysis criteria, OA had fewer syllables, postpositional particles, endings, and grammatical morphemes than the YA. OA produced fewer mean length of utterance-word and the number of object case markers than the YA and MA. In the sentence analysis criteria, there was no difference in the number of syllables, postpositional particles, endings, and grammatical morphemes among the groups. These results suggest the applicability and basis of the sentence analysis criteria for investigating grammatical knowledge during syntax analysis.
