예비교사의 운동 기능 체득에 따른 움직임 의미 탐색

국문 초록

연구목적 이 연구는 초등예비교사가 운동 기능을 익히는 학습의 과정에서 어떻게 움직임을 받아들이고 이해하는가에 대한 경험을 분석하여 움직임의 의미를 탐구하는 데 초점을 두었다. 아울러 움직임에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 체육교육의 본질적 가치를 재탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 이를 위해서 체육과 실기 수업에 참여하는 초등예비교사를 대상으로 하여 3명의 주제보자를 연구 참여자로 선정했다. 연구 참여자가 수업 기간 15주 동안 운동 기능 연습 후 작성하여 제출하는 성찰일지와 개별심층면담, 연구자의 개인 연구 일지를 중심으로 자료를 수집하고, 수집된 자료는 귀납적 범주분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 연구 결과 연구 참여자들은 운동 기능을 학습하는 과정에서 ‘지각되는 몸’, ‘통제되는 몸’, ‘신체적움직임’, ‘신체적 감정’을 경험했다. 결론 이러한 경험은 개인의 몸과 움직임에 대한 이해로 비롯한 ‘객체로서의 몸’ 그리고 움직임을 토대로 나를 느끼는 ‘주체로서의 몸’ 으로 구분되었다. 이 두 개념은 상반되는 것이 아니라 공통분모를 지니는병존 가능한 개념이다. 이러한 연구 결과는 움직임을 이해하는 체육교육의 본질적 가치에 대한 논의를 확장하는 자료로 유용할 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study focused on exploring the meaning of movement by analyzing the experienceof how pre-service teachers accept and understand movement in the process of learning exercise skills. In addition, the purpose was to rediscover the essential value of Physical Education based on the understanding of movement. Methods: To achieve this, three elementary pre-service teachers who participated in Physical Education and practical classes were selected as research participants. Data were collected through reflective journals submitted by the research participants after performing exercise skills for 15 weeks, individualin-depth interviews, and personal research journals of the researchers. The collected data were analyzed through inductive category analysis. Results: As a result, the research participants experienced the “perceived body”, the “controlled body”, “physical movement”, and “physical emotion” during the process of learning exercise skills. Conclusion: These experiences were divided into the “body as an object” and the “body as a subject”, which were not opposing but coexisting concepts with common denominators. These research resultswill be useful as a reference for expanding the discussion on the essential value of Physical Educationin understanding movement.
