노년기 기술수용에 관한 국내 연구 동향: 2000~2020년

국문 초록

본 연구는 2000년부터 2020년까지 국내에서 발표된 노년기 기술수용 연구를 종합하여 연구 동향을 파악하고, 이를 통해 노년기 기술수용에 관한 내용분석을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 국내 학위 및 학술지 논문을 대상으로 PRISMA 단계를 거쳐 최종적으로 119편의 연구문헌을 선정하였다. 먼저 연구의 양적 추이를 살펴본 결과, 2012년 이전까지는 노년기 기술수용 관련 연구가 매우 소수만 발표되었으나 이후 점차적으로 해당 주제 관련 연구가 활발해지는 경향을 보였다. 세부 연구주제는 ① 정보기술 및 디지털 기기 이용, ② 디지털 리터러시 및 정보격차, ③ 신체 및 심리적 건강, ④ 노인 지원 서비스 및 시설 이용, ⑤ 기타로 분류할 수 있었다. 한편, 내용분석을 실시한 결과, 기술 종류와 관련하여 휴대폰 및 스마트폰을 다룬 연구가 가장 많았고, 기술수용모델을 적용한 연구의 경우 Technology Acceptance Model(TAM)에 기반한 경우가 많았다. 노년기 기술수용의 증진요인으로는 높은 교육수준, 자기효능감 등이 주요하였고, 저해요인으로는 고령, 높은 기술불안이 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 노년기 기술수용에 대한 연구의 논의를 종합하고 향후 연구의 방향을 제안하였다. 또한 본 연구는 고찰한 내용을 종합하여 ‘기술기반 활동적 노후 강화 모델(Technology-Based Active Aging Enhancing Model; T-BAEM)’을 제안한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the research trends in the field of technology acceptance of older adults and present a review. To this end, this review followed PRISMA guidelines and analyzed 119 dissertations and journal articles published in South Korea from 2000 to 2020. First, as a result of summarizing quantitative trends in the publications, the number of published articles concerning technology acceptance of older adults was very small before 2012, but gradually increased since 2012. Specific research topics were classified into ① the use of information technology and digital devices, ② digital literacy and information gaps, ③ physical and psychological health, ④ support services and facilities for older adults, and ⑤ others. Second, as a result of conducting content analysis, most of the studies dealt with mobile phones or smartphones when it comes to the type of technology. In the case of the studies based on technology acceptance models, most of them adopted Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Higher level of education and self-efficacy were one of the motivators to promote technology acceptance among older adults, while old age and higher level of technology anxiety were identified as barriers. Based on these results, the present study synthesized the discussions and proposed suggestions for future research. Additionally, after reviewing the existing literature, we proposed the Technology-Based Active Aging Enhancing Model (T-BAEM)
