국문 초록

본 연구는 한국어 학습자의 어휘사용 발달양상을 종단적으로 확인하는데 목적이있다.이를 위해 대학부설 한국어 정규과정 학습자 1명을 대상으로 1급부터 4급까지의 쓰기 텍스트를 수집하였다.본 연구에서 한국어 학습자의 어휘 사용 양상을 관찰하기 위해 어휘 풍요도의 구성요소에 해당하는 어휘 다양성,어휘 밀도,어휘 세련도를측정하였다.그 결과 어휘 다양성을 나타내는 지표인D값은 한국어 학습 기간과 한국어 실력이 증가할수록 높아졌다.D값과 마찬가지로 한국어 학습 기간과 숙달도가 높아질수록 어휘 세련도도 증가하였다.이것은 숙달도가 어휘의 다양성과 어휘의 질에영향을 미친다는 것을 증명한다.어휘 밀도 값은 어휘 다양성 및 어휘 세련도와 크게다르지 않았다.그러나 중급 과정에서는 어휘밀도 측정 범주에 해당하는 내용어의 양이 급격히 증가하였다.이 결과는 학습자가 작성한 텍스트가 숙달도에 따라 방대한 정보를 가지고 있음을 보여준다.본 연구는 1인을 대상으로 한 종단적 연구에 불과하지만 어휘력 평가의 기초 자료로서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is conducting longitudinal examination on lexical use development aspects of Korean learner. Written texts ranging from level 1 to level 4 were collected by targeting one learner of Korean regular course affiliated with university. In order to observe lexical use aspects, lexical diversity, lexical density, and lexical sophistication corresponding to components of lexical abundance were estimated. As a result, it has been found that lexical abundance of achievement assessment written text was lower than written texts from classes. Lexical diversity was estimated by using D value. D value increased as Korean learning period and Korean proficiency increased. Likewise with D value, lexical sophistication also increased as Korean language learning period and proficiency increased. This proves that proficiency influences lexical diversity and quality. Lexical density value did not differ greatly from lexical diversity and lexical sophistication. However, in the intermediate course, the amount of content words corresponding to lexical density estimating categories increased sharply. This result shows that texts created by learner have vast information according to proficiency. This study is meaningful as the basic material of lexical ability estimation even though it is a mere longitudinal study which targeted one person(Chung-Ang University).
