국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 비형식적 통계적 추리 개발을 위한 자료 모델링 과제 및 수업 설계의 원리를 제시하고, 이를 바탕으로 설계의 과정을 체계적으로 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위해 첫째, 선행연구 분석을 통해 과제 및 수업 설계의 원리로서 초등학생들의 비형식적 통계적 추리 개발을 위한 자료 모델링 과정과 과제 설계의 규준을 각각 도출하였다. 둘째, 설계 원리를 바탕으로 과제 및 수업을 개발하고, 전문가 평가를 거쳐 실제 초등학생들을 대상으로 교수실험을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 적절한 과제 설계의 규준과 각 규준을 학생 수준에 맞게 적용하기 위한 방안을 모색하여 비형식적 통계적 추리 개발을 위한 자료 모델링 활동의 활용성을 확보할 수 있었다. 둘째, 자료 모델링 활동을 위한 공학용 도구를 사용함에 있어서 학생의 수준과 수업 맥락에 맞는 도구를 선택하는 것이 필요하다. 셋째, 수업 계열을 구성함에 있어서 맥락적 지식의 통합이 적절히 일어날 수 있도록 유의해야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article is to present the design principles of data modeling activities for the development of informal statistical inference of elementary school students, and systematically illuminate the design process based on it. The details are as follows. First, through the analysis of previous research, we draw the data modeling process and the norm of task design for the development of informal statistical inference of elementary school students. Second, based on the design principles, we developed a data modeling task and lessons, and after expert evaluation, a teaching experiment was conducted for actual elementary school students. The implications of this study are the following. First, through exploring the appropriate design principles and methods to apply each principle to the student level, we confirmed the usability of data modeling activities for the development of informal statistical inference. Second, When using technology in data modeling activities, it is necessary to select a tool that suits the student's level and the context of the class. Third, when designing lesson sequences for the development of informal statistical inference, special care of the integration of contextual knowledge is needed.
