학교 수학에서 디지털 리터러시 교육 양상 분석

국문 초록

디지털 시대가 도래함에 따라 디지털 리터러시는 학교 교육에서 필수적으로 다루어져야 할 부분이 되어 가고 있다. 수학과 교육과정에서는 6차 교육과정에서 계산기와 컴퓨터 등과 같은 공학적 도구를 활용한 교육을 명시하면서 수학 교과에 디지털 리터러시 교육에 대한 역할을 부여하고 있으며, 최근 2015 개정 교육과정에서는 좀 더 적극적으로 디지털 리터러시 교육을 수용하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 본 연구에서는 수학과 교육과정의 디지털 리터러시 수용 양상을 살펴보고, 설문 조사 및 수업 사례 분석을 통해 수학 수업에서 디지털 리터러시 교육 실태를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 2015 개정 교육과정에서는 디지털 리터러시 교육을 수용하는 양상을 보이고 있으나, 교사들은 디지털 리터러시 관련 수업에 대한 인식이 긍정적이지 않은 편이었고, 수업이 교사 주도로 이루어지는 경우가 많았다. 또한 성취기준 수준에 제시된 ‘공학적 도구의 이용’에 대한 해석에 혼란이 있었고, 수학 교과에서 디지털 리터러시 교육을 위한 학교 여건이 부족하였으며, 디지털 리터러시 수업에서 학생들의 협력적 실행 정도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of digital literacy education of the mathematics in accordance with the 2015 revised national curriculum and to draw up substantial improvements to foster digital literacy education in mathematics. This study intends to carry out a multi-layered inspection on how contents related to digital literacy has been adopted in the mathematics curriculum, how the math teacher perceive digital literacy education, and how they put this into practice in real classes. The study investigated how digital literacy has been adopted according to the changes of the mathematics curriculum and aggregate and considerate aspects how mathematics adopted digital literacy by characteristics in mathematics through analysis of standards in the 2015 revised national mathematics curriculum. In addition, this study analysis the current status of digital literacy education in mathematics education through surveying teaching cases, and exploring the improvements for digital literacy education in Mathematics education Through this study drew three suggestions so as to enhance digital literacy education of the mathematics: reinforcement of learning contents for strengthen digital literacy education of mathematics; activation of cooperative learning for digital literacy education of mathematics; and establishing a system to improve math teachers’ professionality.
