예비수학교사의 핵심 교과역량 평가에 대한 채점기준 구성능력 연구

국문 초록

핵심역량 기반 교수-학습이 강조되는 현실에서 수학교과 역량을 평가할 수 있는 교사의 평가문항 개발 및 평가기준 설정능력 함양은 필수적이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 수학교과 역량을 평가할 수 있는 예비수학교사의 능력함양을 목표로 문항개발과 문항에 따른 교과역량기반 평가능력에 대한 질적 연구를 수행하였다. 특히 예비수학교사들이 구성한 채점기준을 수학 교과역량과 연계하여 살펴보고, 예비교사의 의도가 채점기준에 어떻게 반영되었는지를 분석하였다. 연구에 참여한 예비교사들은 대전광역시 소재 A 대학교 교육대학원 수리논술 강의에 참여한 학생 21명이다. 연구 결과, 많은 예비수학교사들은 분석적 채점법을 채점방법으로 선택하였고 거의 대부분의 예비수학교사들이 문제해결 역량을 채점기준에 반영한 것으로 나타났다. 자신의 평가의도를 제대로 반영하지 못하는 비율이 높았으며, 교과역량 역시 채점기준에 완벽히 반영하지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 평가결과에 민감한 우리나라 학생들과 학부모에게 학습 성취에 대한 정확한 정보와 학습방향을 제시하기 위해 채점기준 구성에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 수행되어야 한다. 또한 예비수학교사 교육기관에서도 평가관련 교과목들을 다양하게 개설하여 평가전문성을 갖춘 교사양성에 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

It is essential that teachers’ capabilities developing an assessment item and setting scoring criteria in educational context that emphasizing core competency-based teaching-learning. Therefore, in this study, we conduct qulaitative research on the ability to assess math competencies based on item development and items aimed at fostering competence of pre-service mathematics teachers who assess students’ math competencies. In particular, we examined socring criteria which are developed by pre-service mathematics teachers with respect to math competencies and anlayzed how pre-service teachers’ intentions were reflected in scoring criteria. As a result, many pre-service mathematics teachers selected the analytical scoring method, and almost all pre-service mathematics teachers reflected the problem-solving competency in the scoring criteria. The rate, the students who did not reflect their own assessment intention was high students who solve the problem without teachers’ question purpose was high and the math competencies was also not reflected completely in the scoring criteria. In order to suggest accurate information on learing achievement and directions for learing to Korean students and parents who are sensitive to assessment results, research on socoring criteria should be continuously carried out. In addition, pre-service mathematics teacher education institutes should make efforts to educate teachers with assessment expertise by opening various assessment related courses.
