영문 초록

This study is about comparison between BA-JIN(巴金)'s≪家≫, chinese contemporary novel, and dramatist CAO-YU(曹禺)'s adaptation≪家≫. Looking into plots, characters, themes and words between these two works, this study classify different and common things about them. This study is for understanding differences between these two literary forms and meanings of their literary values. Conclusively, among chinese contemporary dramatist, BA-JIN and CAO-YU's creative characteristics are quite similar. For example, these two writers are accustomed to feudal life style and superior to expressing various feudalistic characters. Especially, they have similarities in expressing love, marriage and life between young people and severe critique using specific expressions. But, they have lots of differences in concrete expressive method. BA-JIN has enthusiasm for passionate impeachment, he is more severe than CAO-YU. CAO-YU is superior to BA-JIN in the aspect of art. He uses realistic and lyrical expressions about introspection of characters.
