영문 초록

As one of the most outstanding poets of the Liu-Song Dynasty, Baozhao's pomes have exerted an immense influence on later generations. Only because he was borned to a low class family, has no high official rank nor distinct achievements in his official career, and especially because he was killed in the armed rebellion, he couldn't receive a special place in ancient Chinese history books. Thus, we couldn't find a detailed account of his life. Based on a thorough investigation and study of historical data and Baozhao's works, this paper discusses the story of Baozhao's life and analysis the historical background of the Liu-Song Dynasty. It was the times, Baozhao's low class upbringing and his inherent character that caused his lifetime full of frustrations.
