이러닝 체제에서의 학습자 중심 문학교육 방법 탐색

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 이러닝 체제에서의 학습자 중심 문학교육 방법을 탐색하였다. 웹을 기반으로 한 학습 체제를 ‘이러닝 체제’라고 하고, 이러닝 체제의 학습 양식으로는 상호 교섭, 다중 문식성, 시간과 공간의 극복, 지식과 정보의 개방, 자기 주도성 양식이 있다. 문학교육은 문학 이론이 낭만주의 단계, 신비평 단계, 독자 반응 이론으로 발전하였음을 알아보고, 다른 학습자들과의 사회적 관계와 문맥적 경험을 중요시하면서 협조적인 의미를 구성하는 문학교육 방법으로 반응 중심 학습법과 독서 토론, RDE 방법 등을 탐색해 보았다. 이러닝 체제에서의 학습자 중심 문학교육의 장점은 문학교육을 학습자의 흥미나 요구에 맞게 진행할 수 있는 점, 학습자의 문학적 수준을 고려하기에 용이한 점, 학습자의 표현(창작) 활동을 활발하게 할 수 있는 점이다. 그러나 이러닝 체제에서 학습자 중심 문학교육을 할 때 주의점으로, 웹에서 이루어지는 소통이 직접적인 소통(듣기․말하기 활동)을 대신할 수 있는지, 사회적 구성주의에 알맞게 음성언어를 중심으로 한 상호 교섭이 활발하게 이루어질 수 있는지, 학습자의 자발성을 어떻게 담보해 낼 수 있는지에 대하여 논의하였다. 이러닝 체제에서의 학습자 중심 문학교육은 ‘정전으로부터 다양한 목소리로’로 변해야 한다는 관점과 ‘전달에서 듣기․말하기 활동을 중심으로 하는 상호 교섭으로’ 교육방법이 변해야 한다고 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated how to provide learner-centered literary education method in an e-learning system. A web-based learning system is called an 'e-learning system', learning modes of which include transaction, multiple literacy, temporal and spatial conquest, opening of knowledge and information, and self-direction. This study confirmed that theories of literature went through Romanticism and New-criticism stages to develop into the Reader-response theory and found out response-based learning, reading discussion, and RDE as methods of literary education to value social relations with other learners and contextual experiences and compose cooperative meanings. Learner-centered literary education in an e-learning system has advantages that it enables literature education to meet learners' interest or needs, that it makes it easy to consider their literary level, and that it activates their expression(creation) activities. Discussion was also made to see if web-based communication could replace direct communication(listening & speaking activity), if transaction could be activated on the basis of spoken language to meet social constructivism, and how to guarantee learners' spontaneity in providing learner-centered literary education in an e-learning system. For learner-centered literary education in an e-learning system, the following suggestions were made: it is necessary to shift from 'canons to diverse voices' and to change educational methods from 'delivery to transaction based on listening and speaking activities.'
