국문 초록

이 논문은 문법 교육의 정체성과 그 교육적 가치를 정립하기 위해 사고 문법으로서의 교육 문법을 모색해 보았다. 이를 위해 교육 문법의 필요성을 살피고 기존 교육과정을 검토하여 교육 문법의 목적을 ‘바르게 사고하고 표현하는 능력을 갖춘 학습자의 양성’으로 설정하였다. 다음으로 문법의 성격을 모국어 화자가 사고하는 도구로 설정한 후 이러한 모국어 문법의 기능을 문법의 사고적 기능으로 정의하였다. 이러한 근거로 문법이 화자가 세계를 인식하는 틀로 작용하고 화자가 대상 세계를 인식하는 관점을 구축하는데 작용한다는 연구 성과를 제시하였다. 또한 세계 인식의 과정에서 화자의 언어 작용은 의미의 사용과 기능을 통해서 확인할 수 있다고 보았다. 요컨대 교육 문법은 교육적 가치를 표상한 문법으로 이는 문법의 사고적 기능을 최대한 고려하여 구현함으로써 학습자가 문법적 사고력을 함양하여 바른말과 바른글로 표현할 수 있는 능력을 함양할 수 있는 핵심 바탕이 되는 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to clarify thinking functions of grammar, to establish the frame of the the pedagogical grammar by illuminating the elements of contents of logic and thinking processes and semantic and pragmatic functions. Constructing educational contents based on this, I sought practical methods in real classroom. To perform it, I reestablished the purpose of the pedagogical grammar, and build the frame by clarifying the levels of Korean sentence generation process. In addition, I took thinking functions of Korean grammar from modality and constructed the contents of the pedagogical grammar to correspond with the purpose and frame of education. It is established the purposes and functions of the pedagogical grammar. I analyzed the previous studies on grammar education, pointed out that these studies still stuck to necessity of teaching students grammar knowledge, and discussed the necessity of constructing contents of the pedagogical grammar in order to develop students' grammatical competence. Conceptualism and general semantics found out that a language did not exist by itself but was generated through the process of the perception speakers had of the world. Therefore, I demonstrated in the concrete that the purpose of the pedagogical grammar should be to develop and to enhance students' ability to think right with logic and express right with objectivity. Furthermore, I found out it in speakers' locutionary acts that Korean grammar worked as the frame that Korean speakers perceived the world with and the elements of grammar were selected by how speakers perceived the world. Ultimately, I suggest that the pedagogical grammar not only has the aspect of Korean's thinking grammar but are also the philosophical foundation of Korean education.
