국문 초록

지금 中國은 “和諧사회를 건설하자”는 정치적 구호를 소리높이 외치고 있다. 이 논문에서는 和諧의 意義를 살펴본 후 墨子의 화해사상을 究明하려 한다. 그리고 아직도 긴장상태에 있는 한반도가 어떻게 하면 평화사회를 이룰 수 있을 것인가를 묵자의 화해사상을 통해 그 해결책을 찾아보고자 한다. 어느 사회나 집단이든 그 구성원들 사이에 對立과 葛藤이 없을 수는 없다. 화해란 多樣性을 전제로 하여 대립과 갈등을 해소하여 조화로운 통일을 유지하는 상태이다. 이 화해관념을 내포하고 있는 것이 묵자의 兼愛論과 非攻論 이다. 겸애는 차별 없는 사랑이다. 겸애가 실현되는 사회는 전쟁이 없을 뿐만 아니라 힘과 재물과 지식 등을 서로 나누어 돕는 大同의 사회이다. 묵자는 적극적 화해개념인 겸애를 주장하는 한편 소극적 화해개념인 非攻 을 주장한다. 그는 不義, 不利의 도덕적, 경제적 이유를 들어 침략전쟁을 반대한다. 그리고 진정한 평화를 유지하기 위하여 武裝평화론을 내놓았다. 북한의 核實驗 으로 남북관계는 더욱 긴장이 더해지고 있다. 한반도의 긴장을 완화하고 나아가 鞏固한 평화를 성취하기 위해서는 묵자의 화해사상이 有效할 것으로 생각된다. 겸애 비공의 和諧사상으로 북한의 개혁과 개방을 이끌어내고, 한국의 내부 통일역량을 강화해야 한다. 또 묵자의 和諧사상으로 核문제를 해결하도록 힘써야 할 것이다. 남북한 모두가 남의 나라를 내나라 처럼 사랑하는 겸애정신으로 대화하고 서로 돕는다면 和諧의 평화사회를 실현할 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

영문 초록

‘Let’s build a harmonious society’. This is the slogan that China has been raised with recently. This dissertation covers the significance of Harmony(He-xie) and ‘Harmonious Theory’ of Mozi. Moreover, it tries to find a solution for strained relationships between South and North Korea, through Mozi’s Harmonious ideas. Every society and group has disputes about this. Harmony is the state that maintains harmonious unification which mediates conflicts based on the individual’s diversity. Mozi’s Jian-ai Theory and Fei-gong Theory contains this notion of Harmony. Jian-ai is love without discrimination. The society in which Jian-ai is realized doesn’t have any wars or disputes, and also, people share their knowledge, power, and money in order to help and support each other. Mozi not only insists Jian-ai, which is an active notion of Harmony, but also Fei-gong which is a passive notion of Harmony. He is against war, based on the moral and economical reasons of ‘Bu-yi’ and ‘Bu-li’. In addition, he represented the ‘Armed Peace Theory’ in order to keep thetrustworthy peace. The tension between South and North Korea has been intensified because of North Korea’s nuclear testing. Mozi’s Harmonious Theory would be useful in order to relax the tension and to keep the peaceful relations of South and North Korea. With Jian-ai and Fei-gong Harmonious Theories, North Korea could lead itself to reformation and thus solve its nuclear problem, and South Korea could strengthen its national ability in order to prepare the unification. When both South and North Korea put an effort on having communication and helping each other based ethics of Jian-ai, Korea could eventually realize a peaceful and Harmonious society.
