한국어 학습자의 독자 고려 전략 양상 연구

국문 초록

목적：본고는 학문 목적 한국어 학습자가 쓴 논증적 텍스트를 통해 독자 고려 전략 양상을 살펴보고자 하였다. 방법：한국어 학습자를 대상으로 32편의 논증적 텍스트를 표집한 후 독자 고려 전략의 사용 유형을 분석해 보았다. 결과：대화 참여자의 위치 정하기 전략과 이익 및 손실 강조하기 전략은 필자와 독자 간 관계에 따라 전략 사용에 차이를 보였다. 한국어 학습자 필자는 1인칭 단수 대명사 ‘나’와 1인칭 복수 대명사 ‘우리’를 통해 대화 참여자의 위치를 드러냈다. 독자가 포함된 ‘우리’는 연대감을 형성하기 위해 사용되었고 독자가 배제된 ‘우리’는 필자에 대한 신뢰감을 높이기 위해 사용되었다. 이익과 손실 강조하기에서 독자가 필자보다 사회적 지위가 높은 경우에는 필자와 독자 모두에게 이익이 되는 내용을 근거로 든 반면에 사회적 지위가 동일한 경우에는 손실을 제시하는 경향을 보였다. 결론：한국어 학습자를 위한 쓰기 교육에서 독자 고려 전략의 교수 내용과 방법을 마련하는 데에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose：This research study observes and analyzes Korean learners’ reader consideration strategies. Methods：Through analysing the learners’ argumentative texts, several characteristics have been noticed as follow. Results：Firstly, in hierarchical relationship with the readers, the writers tend to use both the first person singular ‘나’ and the first person plural ‘우리’ to expose the writers themselves. The writers attempt to express their sense of social solidarity by using ‘우리 (including the readers)’. whereas they choose ‘우리 (excluding the readers)’ to assure the writers’ credibility. In emphasizing profits and losses, secondly, the writers put their logical bases on the mutual interests of the writers and readers in case the readers are on the higher status. On the other hand, they tend to issue the cases of losses for the readers on the equal status. Additionally, the writers seem to be unfamiliar with the strategies of sharing and responding to information and experience. Conclusion：In writing education for Korean learners, it can help to prepare the teaching contents and methods of reader consideration strategies.
