국문 초록

목적：본 연구는 기초학력의 내용으로서 문식성의 필요성을 범주와 수준을 제시하는 것에 목적이 있다. 방법：기초학력과 관련된 교육 정책과 논의를 분석했다. 이를 바탕으로 문식성의 범주와 수준을 제안하였다. 기초학력으로 읽기와 쓰기는 문식성으로 고려할 필요가 있다. 단순히 글자를 알고 쓰는 능력만으로는 교과 학습과 일상생활을 영위하는 데 한계가 있으므로 문식성 수준을 기초학력의 내용으로 고려할 필요가 있다. 결과：연구 결과로 초등학교, 중학교에 필요한 기초학력으로서 문식성의 수준은 서사, 설명체 텍스트를 대상으로 한 이해와 표현 능력을 제안했다. 이해는 글의 내용을 명시적, 추론적으로 이해하고 매체 이해 능력까지 고려했고 표현은 짧은 글쓰기, 생각을 글로 표현하는 능력을 제안했다. 결론：기초학력에 대한 논의는 사회적으로 점차 확장될 것이다. 기초학력의 내용과 수준에 대한 깊이 있는 후속 논의가 필요하며, 국어과의 역할에 대한 확산적 논의가 이어질 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose：The purpose of this study is to present the categories and levels of the necessity of literacy as the content of basic academic background. Methods：We analyzed educational policies and discussions related to basic academic background. Based on this, the category and level of literacy was proposed. Reading and writing with basic academic background need to be considered as literacy. Since the ability to simply know and write letters has limitations in conducting subject learning and daily life, it is necessary to consider literacy as the content of basic academic ability. Results：As a result of the study, the level of literacy as a basic academic ability required for elementary and junior high schools suggested comprehension and expressive abilities for narrative and expository texts. Understanding explicitly and inferentially understood the content of the text and considered the ability to comprehend the medium, and the expression suggested the ability to write short writing and express thoughts in writing. Conclusions：The discussion on basic education will expand in the future. In the process, discussion needs to be focused on the content and level of basic academic rather than consequential treatment such as whether or not the basic academic is reached or not.
