영상서사 표현교육의 구체화 방안

국문 초록

목적：본 연구는 영상서사 표현교육의 개념과 필요성을 밝히고 영상서사 표현교육의 현황을 파악하여 구체화 방향 제시를 목적으로 한다. 방법：이를 위해 매체 문식성, 디지털 리터러시, 국어과 영상 교육에 관련된 선행 연구를 검토하여 영상서사 표현교육의 구성요소와 필요성을 설정하고, 2015 개정 국어과 교육과정에 반영된 관련 성취기준을 분석하여 본질적, 도구적 성취기준으로 범주화하였다. 결과：교육과정 분석과 이론 연구를 통해 영상서사 표현교육의 내용 선정 기준으로 목적, 장르 특성, 능력 구성 요소를, 활동 스펙트럼으로 준비, 제작, 소통 및 성찰 활동을 제안하였다. 결론：성취기준 성격과 학교급별 특성에 따라 영상서사 표현교육의 내용과 활동을 차별화할 수 있다. 낮은 학년군, 도구적 목표의 영상서사 표현교육에서는 창의적이고 쉬운 영상물 제작 경험이나 준비 활동을 통해 윤리 의식이나 비판적 안목 신장을, 높은 학년군, 본질적 목표의 경우에는 본격적인 영상서사 제작, 소통 및 성찰 활동을 통해 영상언어의 특성 이해력과 서사 구성 능력을 신장시킨다.

영문 초록

Purpose：The purpose of this study was to clarify the concept and current status and to present directions of visual narrative expression education. Methods：In order to accomplish purpose, the elements and necessities of visual narrative expression education were reviewed by previous studies related to media literacy, digital literacy, and video education. The relevant achievement standards reflected in the 2015 revised Korean language curriculum were analyzed and categorized by essential or instrumental achievements. Results：The findings of the curriculum’s analysis and theoretical research showed that the purpose, genre characteristics, and ability components can be the criteria for selecting the contents. The preparation, production, communication and reflection can be spectrum of activities. Conclusion：The contents and activities of visual narrative expression education can be differentiated according to the characteristics of achievement standards and learner’s level. For low grade groups and instrumental goals, ethical awareness, critical perspective and easy video production activities are important. For high grade groups and essential goals, full-scale visual narrative production, communication and reflection are important. It enhances to understand the characteristics of visual language and narrative composition.
