문법 교육의 실천적 지식에 관한 예비 교사와 경력 교사의 사례 연구

국문 초록

목적: 문법 교육에서 구성될 수 있는 실천적 지식을 탐색한다. 방법: 문법 교육에 관한 예비 교사와 경력 교사의 실천적 지식의 정향을 비교하기 위하여 그들의 수업과 면담 내용을 분석하였다. 결과: ‘문법 수업의 학습 목표 설정’과 ‘문법 수업에서 사용하는 담화, 글’의 경우 예비 교사는 이론적 정향에 적확하게 근거하지 못하는 경우가 있으며, 경력 교사는 이론적 경향에 근거하면서도 학습자라는 상황적 정향이 더 우세하게 드러났는데, 이는 근본적으로 교사의 관점이라는 개인적 정향에서 비롯된 것이다. 경력 교사의 담화, 글에 대한 관점에는 읽기 또는 문학 영역과 달리 문법 영역의 경우 사회적 정향이 덜 반영되었다. ‘문법 수업의 교수 학습 방법 설정’은 예비 교사가 탐구 학습이라는 이론적 정향에 근거하는 반면, 경력 교사는 상황적 정향, 경험적 정향, 개인적 정향에 영향을 받았다. 결론: 상황적 정향, 사회적 정향과 경험적 정향은 사회 경험과 교수 경험이 많은 경력 교사에게서 주로 나타났다. 이론적 정향은 예비 교사가 인식하면서도 이론이 실천으로 바뀌면서 오류가 발생하기도 하며, 경력 교사가 의미나 기능을 중요시 하는 최근의 이론에 대해서는 관심이 부족한 것은 교사의 문법 교육에 관한 관점이라는 개인적 정향에서 비롯된 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore practical knowledge in grammar education. Methods: In order to compare the orientation of practical knowledge of pre-service teachers and experienced teachers on grammar education, their classes and interviews were analyzed. Results: In the case of “setting learning goals in grammar classes” and “discourse and writing used in grammar classes,” pre-service teachers are not based on theoretical orientation correctly. Career teachers are based on theoretical orientation, but the situational orientation of learners is more dominant, which stems from the personal orientation of teachers' perspectives fundamentally while based on experiential orientation. In the case of “setting teaching and learning methods in grammar classes,” pre-service teachers were based on the theoretical orientation of inquiry learning, while career teachers were influenced by situational orientation, experiential orientation, and personal orientation. Conclusion: In the situational orientation, career teachers were more dominant than pre-service teachers, and social orientation and experiential orientation were mainly found in career teachers with a lot of social experience and teaching experience. Theoretical orientation is strongly perceived by pre-service teachers, but errors occur as theories change to practice. Career teachers are more influenced by situational orientation, social orientation, and personal orientation than theoretical orientation, and they lacks interest in recent theories that value meaning and function, which fundamentally stems from the personal orientation of their perspective about grammar education.
