국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 2015 개정 초등학교 국어 교과서에 수록된 시 제재의 적절성을 검토하여, 교과서 시 제재의 개선 방향을 모색하는 것이 목적이다. 방법: 연구 대상은 2015 개정 초등학교 국어 교과서에 수록된 시 제재 70편이고, 연구 방법은 ‘개별텍스트 차원’에서는 교육성, 문학성, 가치성을, ‘상호텍스트 차원’에서는 내용의 균형성, 형식의 다양성을 기준으로 검토하였다. 결과: 개별텍스트 차원에서 교과서 시 제재는 교육성뿐만 아니라 문학성과 가치성도 함께 추구할 필요가 있다. 상호텍스트 차원에서는 특정 대상(비, 친구, 봄 등)에 편중되지 않고 내용의 균형성을 추구하고, 학습자가 시의 전형성과 독창성을 경험할 수 있도록 새로운 형식을 적극적으로 수용할 필요가 있다. 이 외에도 시 제재의 수록 비중을 확대하고, 교과서 제재와는 별도로 추가적인 권장 제재 목록을 제공하여, 교사가 열린 교과서관을 가지고 주체적으로 제재를 선택 및 활용할 것을 장려해야 한다. 결론: 교과서 시 제재의 적절성을 확보하기 위해 시 제재에 대한 논의가 더욱 활성화되어야 한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the appropriateness of the poetry works included in the 2015 revised elementary school Korean language textbook to seek a direction to improve the poetry works in textbooks. Methods: The subjects of the study were 70 poems included in the 2015 revised elementary school Korean language textbook. The research method was reviewed based on educational value, literature value, and humanity at the ‘Individual text level’, and the balance of content and diversity of form at the ‘Intertextuality level’. Results: In the individual text level, it is necessary to pursue not only educational value but also literary and humanity for poetry works. In the intertextuality level, it is necessary to pursue the balance of content without being biased against specific objects(rain, friends, spring, etc.), and actively accept original and new forms so that learners can experience the typicality and originality of poetry. In addition, the proportion of poetry works should be expanded, an additional list of recommended poetry works should be provided separately from textbooks, and teachers should be encouraged to participate in the selection and utilization of poetry works with the open perspective on textbooks. Conclusion: In order to secure the appropriateness of sanctions in textbooks, discussions on sanctions should be further activated.
