국문 초록

이 논문의 목적은 청소년을 대상으로 리더십생활기술을 교육함에 있어 성경의 인물들이 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지를 살펴봄으로서 효과적인 리더십생활기술 교육 방안 개발에 일조하고자 함이다. 더불어 기독교리더십이 가지는 특징, 즉 강한 신념, 미래지향성, 희생, 겸손, 섬김 등의 모습들을 일반적인 리더십 연구 분야에 융합 적용함으로서 새로운 연구의 장을 개척하고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 리더십생활기술, 그리고 성경과 현대교육에 관련된 선행연구들을 통해 이론적 배경을 정립하였다. 이어 성경 속 대표적 지도자인 모세, 요셉, 다윗, 사도바울 선택하여 이들을 통해 리더십생활기술의 요인들이 어떻게 발현되고 구성원들에게 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지를 살펴보았다. 학자마다 리더십생활기술의 다양한 하위 요인을 제시하지만, 대체로 공통적으로 언급하는 요인 중 중 인간관계기술, 자기이해기술의 내면적 요소 2가지, 의사결정기술, 그룹활동기술의 외부적 요소 2가지 총 4가지 요인을 본 연구의 대상으로 선정하였다. 그리고 선정된 리더십생활기술의 요인들이 잘 발현되는 성경 속 인물과 발현 과정 및 그 결과를 각 요인과 매치하여 구체적으로 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 우리는 성경이 청소년들에게 리더십생활기술을 교육함에 있어 긍정적인 교육 콘텐츠로서 활용 가치가 있음을 보았다. 그 이유는 첫째, 기독교인이 우리나라 국민의 약 1/3을 차지한다는 점이다. 종교적인 특성상 공통된 믿음과 신념을 바탕으로 하는 교육은 효과가 높을 수밖에 없다. 둘째, 성경이 종교적 가치 외에 역사서로서의 가치도 지닌다는 점이다. 역사적 인물들의 리더십을 통해 미래 청소년들이 가져야 할 리더십을 교육하는 것이 바람직한 방법이 될 수 있다. 셋째, 기독교 정신이 효과적인 리더십의 바탕이 된다는 점이다. 기독교는 기본적으로 신 앞에 자신의 부족함을 발견하여 낮은 마음의 자세를 가지도록 권유하고, 자신만의 기준으로 타인을 쉽게 판단하지 않고 존중하도록 가르친다. 넷째, 성경에는 다양한 종류의 지도자들이 매우 상세히 묘사되어 있다는 점이다. 성공한 지도자들이 리더십생활기술을 습득하게 되는 과정과 습득된 리더십이 발현되었을 때의 결과가 상세히 기록되어 있으며 이러한 서사를 통해 현대 연구자들은 이상적인 리더십생활기술의 모습을 다양한 각도에서 접근하고 그려볼 수 있을 것이다. 과거와 현재, 그리고 현재와 미래가 유기적 관계 속에서 반복 및 발전된다는 점을 고려할 때, 성경을 바탕으로 하는 기독교적 리더십과 일반 사회과학 속에서 연구되는 리더십생활기술이 상호보완적 관계 및 융합학문으로서의 관계를 이루어나갈 수 있다면 지금까지의 연구와는 다른 새로운 연구의 장이 만들어질 수 있을 것이다. 그러므로 기독교리더십은 일반 리더십과의 공통점과 함께 기독교 리더십만의 고유한 특성들을 차별화함과 동시에 인터뷰, 통계, 수치화 등의 사회과학적 방법을 통해 실생활 및 청소년 교육에 적용 가능한 범위 내에서 연구되어야 할 것이며 이는 앞으로 더욱 연구되어야 할 과제를 남긴다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구가 종교를 초월하여 현대사회에 필요한 믿음과 신뢰, 배려와 섬김의 가치를 청소년에게 교육하는 데 일조하기를 바란다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to help develop effective leadership life skills education plans through looking at how biblical figures can be used when educating leadership life skills for teenagers. Moreover, I would like to pioneer a new research field by converging and applying the characteristics of Christian leaders, which are strong beliefs, future orientation, sacrifice, humility, and serving, to general leadership research. For the purpose of the study, the theoretical background was first established through Previous studies related to leadership life skills and Bible-based pedagogy. Then, Moses, Joseph, David, and Apostle Paul, the representative leaders in the Bible, were selected to examine how the factors of leadership life skills were expressed and how they affected their members. Each scholar presents various sub-factors of leadership life skills, but four factors were selected as the subjects of this study, including two internal factors and two external factors. As the next step, the characters in the Bible who presented the selected sub-factors of leadership life skills were suggested. Finally, the study showed how each of the character gained the leadership life skills, how they led others successfully, and how the results were changed through their leadership. Through this study, we found that the Bible is worth using as a positive educational content in educating adolescents on leadership life skills. The reason is that, first, Christians account for about one-third of the Korean people. Due to the religious nature, education based on common beliefs is bound to be highly effective. Second, the Bible has a value as a historical book in addition to its religious value. It can be a desirable way to educate leaderships that adolescents should have in the future through the leadership of historical figures. Third, the Christian spirit can be the basis for effective leadership. Christianity basically encourages people to have a humble mind by discovering their own inadequacies in front of God, and teaches them to respect others without easily judging them by their own standards. Fourth, the Bible describes various kinds of leaders in great detail. The process by which successful leaders acquire leadership life skills and the results when acquired leadership is expressed are recorded in the Bible in detail. Through these narratives, modern researchers would be able to approach and draw the ideal leadership life skills from various angles. Considering that the relationships between past and present and between present and future are repeated and developed, a new research field will be created if Christian leadership and leadership life skills studied in general social science can be fused and complemented. Therefore, Christian leadership must differentiate its own unique characteristics. At the same time, this should be accompanied by general leadership research to the extent applicable to youth education through social science methods such as interviews, statistics, and quantification. This leaves a task to be studied further in the future. I hope that this study will help educate adolescents about the values of faith, trust, consideration, and service necessary for modern society beyond religion.
