국문 초록

최근 농업은 1차 산업에서 벗어나 6차 산업으로 변화하였다. 특히 1995년 세계무역기구 출범 이후 농식품 수출은 예외 없는 시장개방을 통한 무역자유화의 대상으로 변화하면서 농식품은 국제교역대상이 되었다. 이를 통해 각국은 농식품 수출시장 확대를 위한 다양한 수출전략 및 지원방안이 오랫동안 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 우리나라의 농식품 수출은 국내 잉여 농산물에 대한 판매 대안에서 출발하였지만 오늘날 국가경제에 적지만 의미 있는 성장을 보이고 있는 분야이다. 최근 코로나-19이후 국가 간 이동제한과 세계경제의 소비감소가 발생하였음에도 불구하고 우리 농식품에 대한 해외수요 증가는 향후 우리나라 농식품 수출에 대한 제고가 필요하다고 판단된다. 농식품 수출은 이제 단순한 국내 잉여상품의 처리방식이 아닌 수출경쟁력 강화를 도입한 새로운 수출전략을 수립하여 추진함으로써 국가경제발전에 기여할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 본 연구는 우리나라 농식품 수출의 주요국인 일본, 중국, 미국을 대상으로 한 농식품 수출결정요인을 도출하고 수출의 경제적 효과를 중력방정식 모형을 적용하여 분석하였다. 특히 전통적으로 다루어진 수출결정요인인 국민총생산, 1인당 국민총생산, 환율, 교민 수, 거리 이외에도 물류성과지수와 통관지수 등 외적 수출지원시스템의 효율성을 변수화하여 분석하였다. 분석결과를 종합하면 환율과 거리변수는 통계적으로 유의미하지 못한 것으로 분석되었지만 물류성과지수와 통관지수 즉 물류와 통관 부문의 효율성이 수출효과를 높이는데 중요한 요인이라는 점을 제시하였다,

영문 초록

Despite the recent restrictions on movement between countries and a decrease in consumption of the global economy after COVID-19, the increase in overseas demand for Korean agricultural products is considered necessary to enhance Korea's agricultural exports in the future. Agricultural exports should now contribute to the development of the national economy by establishing and promoting a new export strategy that introduces strengthening export competitiveness, not just a method of handling domestic surplus products. Under this environment, this study derived the determinants of agri-food exports targeting Japan, China, and the United States, which are major countries in Korea's agri-food exports, and analyzed the economic effects of exports by applying a gravity equation model. Especially traditionally addressed export decisionsIn addition to gross national product, gross national product per capita, exchange rate, number of Koreans, and distance, the efficiency of external export support systems such as logistics performance index and customs clearance index was analyzed by variable. The analysis results showed that the exchange rate and distance variables were not statistically significant, but the logistics performance index and customs clearance index, that is, the efficiency of the logistics and customs sectors, were important factors in enhancing the export effect
