이연법인세 정보의 유용성에 관한 실증적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 이연법인세계정이 회계정보 이용자(투자자)에게 유용한 정보효과가 있는지 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법은 선행연구검토와 실증적 연구를 병행했다. 실증적 연구는 T-검정, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 실행했다. 순이연법인세와 기업가치 관련성 분석결과는 1999년의 경우, 기업가치 설명력은 67.6%로 나타났으며, 유의수준은 1%로 유의하였다. 순이연법인세(대변) 회귀계수는 -20.497로 기업가치에 음(－)의 관련성을 가졌다. 2000년의 경우 기업가치 설명력은 72.3%로 나타났으며 유의수준은 1%로 유의하였다. 순 이연법인세(대변)의 회귀계수는 -8.157로 기업가치에 음(－)의 관련성을 가졌다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 이연법인세 계정은 기업가치에 관련성을 갖는다는 가설이 성립되었다. 즉 이연법인세 계정이 유의한 부호의 계수를 가졌다는 것은 회계정보 유용자(투자자)에게 유용한 정보를 제공할 수 있다는 의미를 갖는다.

영문 초록

This study is to identify the usefulness of information of deferred income taxes to accounting information users (investors). For the empirical aspects, I adopted T-test, correlation analysis and regression analysis method.5) In the analysis results of relationship between deferred income tax and value of companies in 1999, the explanation of value of companies (R2, coefficient of determination) showed 67.6% with significance level of 1%. The coefficient of regression in net deferred income tax (credit) was 20.497, which was minus to the value of companies. In 2000, the explanation of value of companies (R2) showed 72.3% with significance level of 1%. The coefficient of regression in net deferred income tax (credit) was 8.157, which was minus to the value of companies. Therefore, in this study, the hypothesis that the deferred income taxes account is relational to the value of companies corresponded to the expectations. In other words, when the deferred income tax account has the coefficient with the significant sign, it could provide the useful information to accounting information users (investors).
