북한사회에서 형성된 수령의 형상과 속성연구

국문 초록

한사회는 김일성 수령제일주의로 변모된 북한식 사회주의 국가이다. 북한식 사회주의체제의 핵심은 수령관인데 모든 혁명 주체의 뇌수가 바로 수령이며 수령이 인민대중을 선도하는 영도자가 되어야 사회주의 혁명은 성공할 수 있다는 것이다. 수령관은 수령의 형상을 만들어냈는데그 형상은 두 시대(일제 항일운동시기와 한국전쟁 이후)를 모판으로 형성되었다. 북한의 문학예술작품은 일제시대의 항일 운동을 통해서는 어버이 형상을 만들어 냈고, 한국전쟁 이후에는 구원자 형상을 만들어냈다. 이 두 가지 형상에는 각각의 형상에 부여되는 속성들이 있는데 어버이 형상에는 사랑의 속성이 구원자 속성에는 신적 능력들(전능, 전지, 영원 등)이 부여되었다. 문학예술을 통해서 가공된 이 두 가지 형상은 북한 교육 전반에 걸쳐서 북한주민에게 수령의 형상을 내재화시키는 교육을 실시하였다. 이런 과정을 통해서 북한 주민들은 수령에 대한신적 형상을 가지게 되었으며 이것은 김일성-김정일-김정은 시대에 이르기까지 계속해서 강요되고 있으며 심지어는 숭배의 대상으로까지 요구받고 있다. 김정은의 통치 방식도 할아버지 김일성 수령 재임시에 만들어진 이 수령의 형상과 속성에 많은 부분을 의지하고 있다.

영문 초록

North Korea is uniquely known as the socialist nation that has North Korean style. It is the supreme leader-first policy, which any socialist countries never have experienced. At the heart of North Korean style of socialism is the view of supreme leader, who is the core in the revolution of socialism. Only he can lead the people for the socialist revolution and, on that condition, the revolution can succeed. The view of supreme leader produces images of the supreme leader, which was projected through the two period of the Japanese colonialism and the Korean war. During Japanese occupation period, North Korean art and literature made the supreme leader the father image. After the Korean War, North Korean government utilized art and literature to produce the image of a savior. May attributes are ascribed to these two images of the supreme leader. The father image has attributes of love and goodness. The savior image possesses godly attributes such as omnipotence, omniscience, eternity and so on. N o r t h K o r e a n government used these images of the supreme leader to indoctrinate North Korean people by means of an educational system through nursery schools to higher educational institutes. Through the indoctrination process, North Koreans come to have the godly images about the supreme leader, which has come to pass down through the lineage of Kim Il-sung-Kim Jong-Il, and Kim Jong-Un. The current leader in North Korea, Kim Jong-Un, relies on the view and images of the supreme leader, which was made in the reign of his grand-father, Kim Il-Sung.
