뇌 매카니즘과 도예치료 점토 연계성 연구

국문 초록

최근에 정서적인 불안이나 적응력이 부족한 아동들에게 점토를 활용하여 정서성과 감성을 길러주는 도예치료 연구가 꾸준히 진행되고 있다. 본문에서 도예치료 점토의 효용성을 과학적으로 검증하기 위해 뇌 매카니즘적 측면에서 연구하였다. 또한 도예치료에서 점토를 활용하면 우뇌를 활성화시키게 되고, 신경세포의 자극으로 신경망이 증가하게 되어 아동들에게 정서적인 안정감을 갖게 되는 것을 뇌 메카니즘과 연계하여 연구하였다. 그 결과 도예치료 점토와 뇌 매카니즘 연계성의 특징으로 첫째, 아동이 점토와 상호 작용하는 동안에 다양한 학습이 이루어진다. 둘째, 점토를 활용한 학습은 감각을 통해 이루어진다. 셋째, 점토를 조작하는 것은 뇌 가소성 기본 패턴을 형성이다. 넷째, 점토를 활용한 기능발달은 감각이나 정서, 동작을 통해 지식이 형성된다. 다섯째, 점토를 활용하는 과정에서 신경계의 가소성과 복잡한 조직으로 인해 학습과 치료가 가능하다. 아동들 중에 신체나 학습에 문제가 있거나 장애가 문제로 여겨졌던 아동들도 점토를 활용하여 지속적으로 감각을 활용하고 통합된 동작을 한다면 자신의 신경망을 보다 정교하고 효과적으로 재구성할 수 있는 능력이 길러질 수 있다.

영문 초록

Recently, there have been continuous researches on the ceramic therapy developing emotion and sentiment of children feeling emotional anxiety or lacking in adaptability by using clay. This study conducted its research in the aspect of brain mechanism, in order to scientifically verify the effectiveness of ceramic therapy using clay. Also, the brain mechanism was connected with the fact that the use of clay in ceramic therapy vitalizes the right brain, and the stimulation of nerve cells increases the neural network, which provides children with emotional stability. In the results, regarding the characteristics of the relations between brain mechanism and ceramic therapy using clay, first, there are various learning conducted while children interact with clay. Second, the learning using clay is done through senses. Third, operating clay is to form the basic patterns of brain plasticity. Fourth, the functional development using clay forms knowledge through senses, emotion, and movement. Fifth, the plasticity and complex organization of nervous system make it possible to learn and treat in the process of using clay. If children with physical/learning disorders continuously use senses and also conduct integrated movements by using clay, they can develop abilities to more elaborately and effectively reconstruct their own neural network
