장기요양요원의 역량이 방문요양서비스 품질에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 장기요양요원의 역량이 방문요양서비스 품질에 영향을 미치는지 확인하는 데 목적이 있다. 전라북도 14개 시⋅군지역별 할당표집을 통해 모아진 방문요양서비스 이용자 228명, 요양보호사 164명, 사회복지사 72명의 결합자료를 활용하여 3수준 다층모형(1수준: 이용자, 2수준: 요양보호사, 3수준 사회복지사)으로 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회복지사의 역량이품질에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 요양보호사 역량의 경우 사회복지사 역량이 투입된 후 유의미한 영향력이 사라졌다. 둘째, 품질을 하위요소로 나누어 살펴본 결과, 품질 1(신뢰 및 대응)은 사회복지사의 역량만이 유의미한 영향력을 지녔고, 품질 2(공감)는사회복지사와 요양보호사 모두의 영향력이 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과는 그동안 방문요양서비스 품질 연구에서 주목받지 못했던 사회복지사의 역할이 요양보호사의 역할 이상으로 중요하다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 요양보호사와사회복지사의 역량 향상 및 좋은 돌봄을 제공하기 위한 방안들을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the competence of long-term care workers affects the quality of visiting care services. A three-level multi-layered model(Level 1: User, Level 2: Care-giver, Level 3: Social Worker) was analyzed using combined data of 228 visiting Care service users, 164 care-givers, and 72 social workers collected through allocation sampling by region in 14 cities and counties in Jeollabuk-do. The main research results are as follows. Firstly, It was found that the competency of social workers had a significant effect on quality. In the case of Care-giver competency, the significant influence disappeared after social worker competency was input. Secondly, As a result of examining quality by dividing it into sub-factors, it was found that only the social worker s competency had a significant effect on quality 1(reliability and responsiveness), and quality 2(empathy) showed that the influence of both social workers and care-givers was significant. The above research results indicate that the role of social workers, which has not been noticed in the quality research of visiting care services, is more important than the role of care-givers. Based on these research results, measures were proposed to improve the competency of care-givers and social workers and to provide good care.
